Tarn Cottage is located on the foothills of Blencathra in the Lake District, this family barn conversion is perfect for your next Cumbrian getaway.. 2 steps to entrance.

Back garden with courtyard and garden furniture. 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Tarn Cottage is a modern barn conversion, recently finished in 2023 and part of the already popular Lowside Farm in the North Lakes near Keswick, already housing six very popular micro-lodges, the owners have now converted two of their barns. Tarn Cottage is a three bedroom offering comfortable sleeping up to six guests with two bathrooms, one on each floor and an amazing open plan living/kitchen/diner with double height ceilings and a separate study/games room for either the kids to enjoy or maybe you have to work.
Tarn Cottage is in the shadow of one of the highest and most impressive fells in The Lake District National Park, Blencathra, perched on the lower slopes of Blencathra you’ll benefit from some great walking and cycling routes and amazing panoramic views across the countryside. Lowside Farm is situated just off the A66 which is the main route that cuts through Cumbria, from Penrith in the east and continuing to the west coast. There is easy access to all of the Northern Lake District Fells and much of the stunning scenery this part of the world has to offer. The popular town of Keswick is just 6½ miles away with an abundance of bars, shops, restaurants and nightlife as well as some great tourist attractions and a local market. Pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
Tarn Cottage (ref UK42803) can be booked together with Oaktree House (ref UK42805) to accommodate up to 16 guests.
