The Studio is small dwelling located in the heart of Bakewell. Inside the property you will find a single double bedroom, along with a shower room. You will also find a kitchen/dining room. Outside, The Studio has a charming stone courtyard with table and chairs. Please note: This property only accepts bookings with a minimum of 3 nights. Please note: there is a step down from the entrance door and a step down in to the kitchen
Amenities: Combination microwave oven, single convection hob, kettle, crockery, cooking utensils, under counter fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, grill and cafetiere, TVs and WiFi. Outside area comprises of a stone courtyard with table and chairs. Guest parking permit for 1 one provided in property. Pub is within 1-minute walk, and the nearest shop is less than 5-minute walk. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Chatsworth house is a 10-minute drive away and Haddon Hall is a 15-minute drive. Please note: This property only accepts bookings with a minimum of 3 nights. Note: The property has a £150.00 Good Housekeeping Bond. Please note: there is a step down from the entrance door and a step down in to the kitchen. There is an excellent bus service in the area and rail links are available from Matlock and Chesterfield, if you choose to park and leave your car behind, or if travelling via public transport. You are provided with a free parking permit for the duration of your stay, that offers 24 hour parking on street locations displaying a Permit B sign, there are several locations in and around the area of The Studio
Region: The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
Town: An attractive little market town retaining a delightful rural atmosphere and offering a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as local farmers’ markets. There is an old 17th Century market hall in the town centre and a modern leisure centre with swimming pool nearby. Bakewell is situated within the Peak District National Park and is ideally placed for exploring this beautiful region. Both the rugged Dark Peak and the softer limestone White Peak are within easy reach, and Alton Towers, Britain’s premier theme park, is only a short drive away. There are many stately homes to visit including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall to mention just a few, while the impressive caverns in nearby Castleton and Little John’s burial place in Hathersage are also well worth a visit. Take a trip to Buxton and visit the impressive Edwardian Opera House, designed by Frank Matcham, who also designed the London Palladium.
