On the banks of the River Tweed, The Bothy at Dryburgh is a cosy bolthole which offers rural tranquility in a countryside setting.
Enjoy the simple pleasures of country life in a traditional stone bothy
The Bothy at Dryburgh is situated at the end of a no-through road and is a charming and welcoming stone cottage, perfect as a base to explore the multitude of local attractions such as the neo-classical pavilion with its fantastic Temple of the Muses sculpture; the mighty William Wallace Statue; the spectacular ruins of Dryburgh Abbey and the Dryburgh Suspension Bridge which offers a gentle stroll into the village of St. Boswells for a leisurely lunch.
At the heart of The Bothy is a compact open-plan kitchen and dining area with French doors which open out to a newly built conservatory to the rear with views across the surrounding farmland.
The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of thoughtful extras and there is a spacious ground floor bedroom complete with crisp linens and detailing which make this a real home-from-home.
Outside, guests can enjoy a morning coffee on the patio area to the front of the Bothy, or venture further afield to the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel where guests are welcome to use the bar and AA rosette restaurant and bistro.
GROUND FLOOR
Access via rear courtyard (4 steps down).
Kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, large fridge / freezer, full-size dishwasher, microwave. Dining space with seating for four.
Conservatory with sofa, two armchairs and views over farmland.
Bedroom with double emperor bed (may not be suitable for those with mobility issues as a step up is required), side tables, dressing area, wardrobe, TV with Freeview, chest of drawers. Dressing room adjacent with ample storage and roll top bath.
Shower room with walk-in shower, WC and basin.
OUTSIDE
There is a courtyard patio to the front of the property with a corner sofa and table.
PARKING
There is ample parking in the designated communal parking area adjacent to The Bothy.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING
Two three-pin 3kW outdoor sockets are available for all guests staying in Dryburgh properties to charge electric vehicles, found next to the sheltered communal parking area. Please note that these are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

DOGS
Two well-behaved dogs are very welcome. There is a hosepipe in the courtyard to clean dogs after walking. Guests must please clear up after their dogs.
For those with dogs who are nervous/reactive around cattle, please note, that when cows are in the neighbouring field they do come right up to the garden fence.
