The beautiful property Borgo Bucatra Proprietà (Buonvento + Casa Giuseppina) is located in the tiny medieval hamlet of Chiatri and offers breathtaking views over the coasts of the Versilia and the lake of Massaciuccoli.
The hamlet of Chiatri is known also as the summer residence of the famous composer Giacomo Puccini. The wonderful surrounding nature invites to have relaxing strolls and makes it possible to live fully the contact with nature of the hills which separate Lucca from the sea.

Things to do and one-day trips:
Borgo Bucatra Proprietà is perfect to visit the lake of Massaciuccoli, the Natural Park of Migliarino – San Rossore and to go to the beach to Torre del Lago Puccini or the famous beaches of Versilia.
Music lovers can attend the famous Puccini festival which takes place every year in July and August.
The Natural Park of the Alpi Apuane and art cities like Pietrasanta, Lucca, Pisa and Florence can be easily reached by car and can be visited in a day trip.
Several cycle paths, which are suitable for racing bikes and/or mountain bikes, start from Chiatri and lead to Lucca on one side or to the seaside on the other. They are the ideal option for those who want to alternate a visit to the mountains to one to the sea. There are also panoramic 5 km walking paths, which are suitable for everyone.

The country-house Borgo Bucatra Buonvento has been renovated with great care and consists of a beautiful veranda (c.ca 60 sqm.) with a wrought-iron table, chairs, rattan sofas and armchairs and barbecue.
There is a big, terraced garden (c.ca 500 sqm.) at guests’ complete and exclusive disposal, a children’s playground and a private wooden semi-in-ground swimming pool (diameter 7.47 m, 1,33 m depth) with deck chairs, chairs and parasols.

The house consists of: access to the ground floor within a few steps, access to a spacious and beautiful modern kitchen with central counter with 5 stoves, 2electric ovens, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, picturesque small dining room with circular table, dressing room with stone basin, 1 bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet.
On the first floor: spacious living room with sofa, armchairs, big fireplace, SAT Tv, 1 twin bedroom.
A small staircase leads to the 2nd floor: 1 big bathroom with whirlpool shower, basin, toilet and bidet, 1 twin bedroom and 1 double bedroom.
A small wooden steep ladder leads to the extended attic with 1 double bedroom with air conditioning.

Access to Casa Giuseppina within 10 external steps. Casa Giuseppina is connected to Borgo Bucatra Buonvento within a beautiful and picturesque terrace.
The stone terrace (c.ca 8 sqm.) is equipped with sofa, armchairs, tables and chairs and offers breathtaking views.
Casa Giuseppina consists of: on the ground floor kitchen with induction hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster and American-style coffee brewer.
Staircase to the 1st floor, landing, studio connected to the terrace, living room with sofa and armchair, SAT Tv, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and basin.
