About this property

Porthilly Beach Holiday Park | No 16 | Quiet Dog Friendly Caravan

While Cornwall is famous for it's raw majestic beauty, there are still some relatively undiscovered little gems, such as Porthilly, on the Camel Estuary. Our hire caravans are conveniently located only a few minutes’ walk from Porthilly beach on the peaceful ‘Porthilly Beach Holiday Park’. Our holiday park makes the perfect base for couples and families looking to explore North Cornwall.

If we do not have availability for this caravan, please look at our profile to see other options on site.
This Carnaby Oakdale (no.16) is new for 2024. The caravan is 39x12ft and has a 'centre lounge' layout (bedrooms at either end, separated by the living area). It has a stylish and spacious interior, bedding, linen, towels, crockery and cutlery etc. It is the perfect space to walk back to after an afternoon spent relaxing on the beach. The caravan is double glazed and has central heating with an electric fire in the lounge, making it just as cosy in the winter months.

The kitchen is well equipped with a gas cooker and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, teapot, cafetiere and good quality cutlery, crockery and pans. There is a large fridge freezer.

The living area is light and airy with plenty of space to entertain. There is a double door which opens out onto a large grass area, where sunlight floods through morning until afternoon.

Outside there is a picnic bench and Weber BBQ for those warm summer evenings, along with two sun loungers to kick back and relax on.

Guests have the luxury of being less than a 3 minute walk to one of Cornwall’s finest beaches. Porthilly is just a stone's throw from Rock and all the activities that the Camel estuary has to offer. Rock is renowned as one of the major water-sport centres in Cornwall - sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, canoeing and rowing are all activities which can be carried out in the relatively calm waters of the estuary. If you fancy keeping your feet on solid ground, walk onto the coastal path which leads around the golden sand dunes to Daymer Bay, Polzeath, Pentire Point and beyond.

Across the estuary from Porthilly and Rock is the harbour town of Padstow, a mecca for all things foodie, offering a versatile choice from fine dining to fish and chips on the quay. Hop on the foot ferry at Rock to explore this vibrant fishing town, or walk out to Stepper Point with its panoramic sea views of the estuary and Atlantic Ocean.
There is parking for one car. The caravan is around a 15 minute walk to the convenience shops, including a bakery, butcher, delicatessen, fish shop and spar shop.

There is a fantastic fish and chip shop serving locally caught fresh produce and a range of award winning restaurants within walking distance just across the beach or a ferry ride over to Padstow.
