About this property
White Lion, Aberporth
The White Lion is a spacious cottage less than a minutes' walk from the sandy beach of Aberporth, Ceredigion. The cottage provides the perfect base for a family holiday at the seaside or for walkers with the Ceredigion Coast path passing directly through the village.
The former village pub and hotel, built as far back as the 1800s, the property has heaps of character and interesting history. Relax in the conservatory with views of the garden after a day out or cosy up in front of the log burner in the comfortable sitting room.
The White Lion is only minutes away from Aberporth's 2 sandy beaches and amenities including a local shop, pharmacy, pub, café, and takeaways.
Head along the coast path in either direction and keep your eyes peeled for Cardigan Bay's most breathtaking wildlife such as dolphins and seals. To the north, you will find the beach and village at Tresaith and further along the National Trust beach at Penbryn and the village of Llangrannog. The beautiful beach at Mwnt is close by.
New Quay, just a short drive away, offers dolphin spotting boat trips and the market town of Cardigan has supermarkets, pubs, cafés a theatre/cinema, and a restored castle. Further afield visit the Preseli Hills just over the border in North Pembrokeshire or explore the Cambrian Mountains to the north.
