About this property
Plas Drygarn Ty Gwyrdd, Crymych
Stunning views of Foel Drygarn and the Preseli Hills all the way down to the coast can be enjoyed from Plas Drygarn Ty Gwyrdd, a perfect base from which to explore the hills, dramatic coastline and magnificent beaches of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Crymych is close by and a footpath leads over two fields to this small town which has a range of facilities including pub, shops and services as well as a leisure centre.
The cottage is in a beautiful location on a working smallholding where the owners keep horses, sheep and poultry. The farmhouse is at a higher level along the same track allowing all privacy in this quiet valley. Plas Drygarn Ty Gwyrdd and the cottage next door both have fenced back gardens facing opposite directions to keep privacy for both.
There is a lot to do and see in Pembrokeshire. The whole of the 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path beckons and there are wonderful sandy beaches within 20 minutes' drive including Newport Sands and Poppit Sands. The delights of Tenby with its picturesque harbour and extensive beaches are some 40 minutes away and are well worth making a day of it. Great local attractions for all ages to enjoy include Folly Farm Zoo, Llysyfran Reservoir, Pentre Ifan neolithic cromlech, Castell Henllys Iron Age fort and the Welsh Wildlife Centre.
