About this property

Spacious home w/seasonal heated pool and water views

This home has everything you want in a rental. Enjoy the beauty of the North Fork in the newly renovated back yard w/water views and stunning sunsets. Cool off in the heated pool (open from May 14th until early October) with automated cover (for safety), patio w/dining for 10, lounge chairs and soft seating furniture. There is a gas BBQ and plenty of umbrellas for those who do not want direct sun. The yard also has waters edge seating, a fire pit and large lawn for playing. At the end of a day of swimming take a shower in the outdoor shower. Indoors this house is comfortably laid out and has plenty of room to relax with a fully stocked kitchen, dining room for 8-10 people, breakfast room overlooking the water, family room w/large sofa, TV and play space, powder room, and separated Living Room/Den w/queen size pull out sofa and doors for privacy (this room can serve as an extra bedroom to sleep 2). Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master suite has a queen bed and an en suite bathroom and sweeping views of James Creek. Bedroom #2 has a king bed and a crib. Bedroom #3 has 2 twin beds (one is a trundle) and Bedroom #4 has bunkbeds - double bed with twin on top. The basement was recently renovated w/new lighting, wall to wall carpet, and a foos ball and ping pong table. Its a great place to hang when you want a break from the sun with direct access to the backyard. We also have all amenities for young children including a crib, pack and play and high chair. The house comes with lots of toys and games and books for young children. Its only a 10 minute walk to a private local beach, or short drive to many of the beaches on both the north and south side of the fork. Our house is only a 3 minute drive to the LIRR and the Jitney stop in Mattituck as well as Mattituck Mall which has conveniences like restaurants, movie theater, wine store and super market. And dont forget the vineyards and breweries which are just a short drive away. We hope you love our home as much as we do!

Perfect family get together

We were able to stay as 4 adults and 4 kids at this house with no issue. The host was responsive, the house was clean and we all had a great time. Great location on the north fork, highly recommend!!

Exceeded expectations!

The photos do NOT serve this property justice. The house is gorgeous -equipped with everything a family could ask for. The pool and the creek are spectacular. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are very large. Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood. Owners are accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Amazing place to stay!

I can’t say enough great things about this house. I stayed with my family (husband and 2 young children) and it met all our needs. I would highly recommend this house if your looking for a place to stay near the wineries!

Amazing Property for a Family or Friends

This house is a hidden gem in the North Fork. It is a beautiful property with so many amenities, from a beautiful pool and BBQ area to the Creek vistas. The home is beautifully decorated with plenty of seating. Most importantly for anyone traveling with children this home is equipped with so many clean, well maintained toys, books and board games you will not have to bring anything!! What’s even more exciting within a 10 minute walking distance you are in a sandy beach ideal for little ones. The neighborhood is nice and friendly. This is a great rental. Christine the host is very responsive, and presents a sparkling clean property—which is very much appreciated during these COVID-19 times.

Perfect, Peaceful Home

We had the most wonderful week at Christine's home. The pool is absolutely amazing and the added feature of the automated cover provided the safety we were looking for with our two young children. The setting is so peaceful. Christine makes herself readily available and is very helpful. We are looking forward to renting again!

Great family vacation

Our young family was very happy and comfortable in Chistine's home. The view in the back was very peaceful and our kids spent all day in the heated pool, even on rainy days. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and play. We hope we get the chance to come back.

Great Family Trip

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christine's beautiful home. The house has plenty of kids toys and my daughter had fun playing with all of them in the finished basement. The house was really clean and made for a relaxing stay. We spent 10 nights there in March and enjoyed the water view and got to use the new BBQ as well. Christine was a pleasure to interact with, and quickly addressed any questions that we had. We hope to rent again in the warmer weather to enjoy the pool! Thank you again Christine!

Fun (and clean) family home

Our family, including little and big kids, had a great time here. The house is set up especially well for little kids with lots of books and toys to keep them entertained. Location is beautiful, on an estuary that makes for great birdwatching. It’s also convenient—a large grocery store and ice cream stand are only a few minutes away. The house was spotless, probably the cleanest rental we have ever stayed at. And the host was very responsive with our questions.

What a great place

We just stayed here for a week and had an amazing time. The place is beautiful, clean and is well stocked with everything you need. It has an amazing pool and a beautiful view of the sunset. Beautiful Home in the North Fork

We had a wonderful time at Christine's home! It was a great size for our two families of 4. We especially loved the pool and access to the creek in their backyard. The house is located within close proximity to all the great NoFo attractions such as wineries, farms, beaches and main streets. Christine is a great owner who was very responsive to any questions that came up. We had an amazing stay and we look forward to going back again soon!

Had an amazing time at this beautiful home!

We stayed at this beautiful place for three weeks in August and had an awesome stay. The house is beautifully renovated and everything was still new. It is tastefully decorated in a "beach house" style. We had plenty of space for our family of five plus two grandparents to spread out. There are two bedrooms for grown ups and two kids bedrooms, one with a bunk bed. The kids loved their rooms which had a personal touch by the owner's kids. Most of the time we spent outside in the perfect pool which was great for our 7 and 10 year old since they could just stand in the shallow end and use the deep end for their diving games. During our stay the pool was always super warm and we never needed the provided heater. Our smallest who is 5 loved that there was an electric car in the garage that we were allowed to use and spent many hours driving around the backyard in it. The grandparents enjoyed the view of the wtlands from the garden where you could watch herons fishing in the shallow water. Across the water there is even an eagle's nest to watch if you brought your binoculars. On the few days it was raining we could keep ourselves busy for ours in the basement which had lots of games, including a ping pong table. The house is perfectly located close to Love Lane in Mattituck where we went for dinner. In particular there is a good festival on Friday nights which takes place on the closed street which we can recommend (don't think it is every week though?). To go to the beach we went to New Suffolk beach which is 5-10 minutes by car. Christine, the owner, helped us get a beach permit for rental guests. She and her family have been very helpful during our stay and were great hosts in general. When we had to leave we all agreed that we would love to come back next year!

Our family of 5 has loved every minute spent in this summer home. We live full time in Brooklyn, and as architects longed for a modern, spacious home where we could spread out with our family and enjoy our weekends with the hustle and bustle of the city. This house has it all - space for all types of families, water views and a brand new pool. We hope you make memories as we have.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property for the amazing water views and many public spaces throughout the house (there are 3 living spaces - Living Room, Family Room and the finished basement) which we new would work well for large groups.

What makes this property unique

This house has been renovated inside and outside. The exterior received new shingles, a new pool and patio and new landscaping. Inside new windows were installed to open up the views to the creek, all bathrooms renovated, new doors, lighting, flooring and painting. Also lots of new furniture to compliment all the new finishes.
