Rainbow Cottage, New Quay

Rainbow Cottage is one of two properties on a smallholding 3 miles from New Quay and a short distance from the coastline of Cardigan Bay. It has a private hot tub (only available from 1st April to the end of October) where you can sit back and relax as you let the world go by.

New Quay offers safe sandy Blue Flag beaches, a picturesque harbour and the chance to see bottlenose dolphins, porpoises and Atlantic grey seals. A similar distance away is the secluded 18th Century smuggler's cove of Cwm Tydu. Walk the coastal path from Cwm Tydu to New Quay to enjoy spectacular views with an abundance of wildlife.

A short drive takes you to numerous other beautiful coves including Tresaith, Penbryn and Llangrannog with the lovely harbour town of Aberaeron only eight miles away. Aberystwyth, Carmarthen and Cardigan are all within a one-hour drive. Rainbow Cottage is an ideal base for touring, walking and riding. The owners' fields are bisected by a bridleway leading to lovely walks through adjoining woodland. We are also adjacent to a designated cycle route. Fishing and golfing facilities are nearby. A warm welcome awaits you, relax and unwind in beautiful, peaceful surroundings close to the unspoilt Ceredigion Heritage Coastline.

Rainbow Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin.

TOP FLOOR
Bedroom 1: attic room with twin beds, chest of drawers, wardrobe, hairdryer

UPSTAIRS
Bedroom 2: double bed, 2-seater sofa, chest of drawers, wardrobe, Freeview TV, hairdryer, space for a wooden cot
Bathroom: bath with shower over, toilet, hand basin

DOWNSTAIRS
Living room/dining area: two 2-seater sofas, electric pebble fire, Freeview TV, DVD player, CD player, table and chairs to seat 4, large selection of books, games, CDs and films, Xbox 360 and games for all ages available on request
Kitchen: electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, iron and ironing board, USB charging point
Conservatory: used to access Rainbow Cottage and the Main House. As a seating area, it is solely for the use of Rainbow Cottage's guests.

OUTSIDE
There are mature and secluded gardens with a 4 person Private hot tub (only available from 1st April to the end of October, hot tub cleaned and refilled between bookings so may not be up to temperature at your time of arrival), summer house on the lawn, table and chairs, BBQ (charcoal for first use provided) and a shared washing line. The garden is separate from the Cottage There is private parking for up to 2 cars.
