A Unique Setting for a Unique Experience…
Nature enthusiasts and tranquillity seekers will find their haven at Till Cottage. From the graceful flight of kingfishers and herons to the majestic presence of swans and the gentle hoot of barn owls, wildlife lovers will be in their element! The riverside gardens allow plenty of space for children to run about in; there is an outdoor tree swing and table tennis for entertainment. On a warm summer’s day, guests can enjoy watching swans swim along the river Till, rustling up a meal on the BBQ and dining outdoors whilst watching the sun go down.
When the weather outside is less than inviting, revel in the warmth and charm indoors. Cosy up by the roaring log burner, savour the rich aroma of a freshly brewed coffee from our top-notch Sage Barista coffee machine, or unwind with a TV evening in the snug. At Till Cottage, even if the weather is less than perfect, your stay promises to be a warm and delightful escape, where comfort and relaxation take centre stage. Welcome to your perfect winter retreat!
EXCLUSIVE DISCOUNTS & EXPERIENCE ADD-ONS
Whether you are looking for the ideal space to host an event, run a mini retreat, or just holiday with friends and family, Till Cottage is the ideal destination. We can facilitate local artists and workshop providers to deliver private sessions from the comfort of your accommodation. We have partnered with local independent restaurants and experience providers to offer you exclusive discounts - more details are shared in the digital guidebook once the booking is confirmed.
Take your stay to the next level with a private hot tub. Through our partnership with Hot Tub Hire Hampshire, you can hire a 6-seater tub for just £300 for a 2-night stay. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested so we can reserve this for you.
THE COTTAGES
The cottages are ideal for families seeking a peaceful getaway. We can provide a travel cot and bedding for your convenience - please request these when you book.
2 well-behaved dogs are welcome. We request the dogs remain downstairs in the kitchen and utility area at all times. They are strictly not permitted on soft furnishings. A pet fee of £30 will be added to the price of your stay at checkout. Thank you for your co-operation! For a lovely walk we recommend continuing down the track past the cottage, past the camping site, until you reach Berwick St James (home to a really lovely farm shop!).
Please be aware that the sofa bed in Little Till is a double so best for 1 adult or 2 children. The sofa bed in the ‘secret snug’ is a small double suitable for 1 child only.
The ceilings in the 300-year-old cottage are low in the living room so taller individuals may need to watch their head!
There is a log burner in the living room, only for the winter months (Nov-March). During these months we provide enough wood, kindling and fire lighters for 2 nights, so please bring additional supplies if you anticipate lighting more fires during your stay.
Wellies are provided :)
The Gardener comes every Wednesday.
SAFETY
There is a wire mesh fence that restricts access to the river and does extend the full perimeter of the property. Please be aware that dogs might still be able to burrow underneath, and children must be supervised at all times to prevent them from climbing over. We do not accept any liability for incidents.
