About the host
Hosted by Hale
We are originally from the Scarborough area and have spent several years living in and around the North Yorkshire Moors National Park area. A love of walking, cycling, surfing and other outdoor activities was the inspiration behind our glamping site as we wanted to give guest the opportunity to experience this beautiful area and the surrounding coast and country. There is nothing better than getting away into nature to help de-stress from a busy lifestyle however although camping can be fun it also needs alot of preparation and perfect weather. We have worked hard to provide an environment that gives guests the immersive experience of the outdoors but in total comfort.
Why they chose this property
The area is simply stunning and sits in the middle of the forge valley. The site is in a very rural area with the nearest neighbours approximately 1 miles away. Nature surrounds you in every direction with the Derwent river running right through the valley this really is an idyllic setting.
There are national park trails on your doorstep and heritage Yorkshire villages within a few minutes walking distance. Alongside this we are situated 5 miles from the Yorkshire coast so guests can really make the most of both coast and country.

What makes this property unique
We provide the opportunity to really live within the natural habitat of the national park. Unlike many cottages and holiday homes our glamping pods provide a unique experience of being able to wake up and see out into the national park from your very own bed. Open up the french doors and you can hear the local wildlife in full song then prepare breakfast in our modern kitchens and sit out on the large decking areas and dine in total peace. It simply doesn't get any better.
