About this property

This newly renovated Scandinavian modern home features high vaulted ceilings and white oak floors offering both light and warmth. The kitchen has a large expanse of Carrara marble counters and a full complement of pots, pans and utensils and the basic essentials to make a home-made meal when you tire of restaurants. Other amenities include brand-new large capacity washer and dryer in the unit, a walk-in pantry and a private 250 square foot deck with seating and dining areas.

Please note that that short-term stay tax that went into effect in 2018 can be waived for stays of 30 or more days.

great stay in Berkeley

A peaceful, well-designed and equipped cottage in a lovely, convenient, and walkable neighborhood. Sunny was always available (she lives in front) but never intrusive. We were two people, with a car and occasional guests, and it was perfect for our needs.

I'm an inveterate traveler who has decided to settle down in Berkeley after a long stint in Brooklyn, New York. Before this, I've lived in Europe and Asia and have traveled through many many parts of the world, from backpacking through war torn Central American countries to fairly posh hotel living in Istanbul.

I love traveling vicariously with people who are visiting my corner of the world -- giving directions to lost tourists holding unwieldy maps, telling people where the best [fill in the blank food] is in such and such neighborhood and feeling like I know a small secret about the city that I'm sharing with you. Also, as you might have guessed from the previous sentence, I'm obsessed with food and can talk about where to eat and what to cook/bake endlessly.

I can speak with you fluently in French, Spanish and Korean and fake the rest of the Romance languages, so I'm happy to translate the strange idiosyncracies of Berkeley to you

Set back in a quiet garden, this 2 bedroom cottage is a hideaway from the bustle of the city. While located just a couple of blocks from a thriving restaurant and shopping district, the cottage enjoys a calm garden view.
