About this property
Ty Mor, Holiday Cottage Manorbier, Sleeps 8, 4 bedrooms, bathrooms
Ty Mor is one of 3 cottages making up Manorbier Holiday Cottages, set round a picturesque courtyard in the heart of the seaside village of Manorbier with its glorious sandy beach and majestic Medieval Castle only a short stroll away. Originally forming part of a 17th century farm with Victorian extensions, it has been beautifully renovated and retains many original features with large windows, stone walls, polished wooden floors and Victorian feature fireplaces. Comfortably furnished in bright bold colours, it has a seaside holiday feel. Step into the spacious hallway with its lovely original tiled floor, this leads to the comfortable sitting room complete with piano for family get togethers, the large cottage-style fitted kitchen/diner is ideal for preparing meals to be enjoyed round the large farmhouse style table. There is a useful utility room leading through to a shower room on the ground floor, while stairs lead up to the light bedrooms above and a family bathroom, which offers wonderful views towards the historic Norman Church, green hillside or the castle entrance. Across the courtyard is a gravel terrace where you can dine alfresco on a summer’s evening, 4 steps lead down to a lawned garden with super views across the valley.Ty Mor can be booked with Delfryn for larger parties sleeping up to 12 by opening up the interlinking double door from the hallway. Or combine Ty Mor, Delfryn and Hafod for parties of up to 17.Perfectly located from the moment you arrive, you can leave the car behind and start to relax, spend your days on the beach, this beautiful sandy bay is popular with families, as well as surfers professional and beginners alike. There is a popular tea room serving excellent food and small beach shop located just across the road, while there is a well-stocked village shop and a pub all within walking distance.
