About this property
Ty Top, Holiday Home Newport, Sleeps 4, 2 bedrooms, bathrooms
Ty Top is a delightful, quaint, end of terrace stone cottage (one of four) set on an ancient track beneath Carn Ingli (the hill of the angels) mountain above the village of Newport. Deceptively spacious, it has been renovated to a very high standard and will not cease to delight, retaining its character with exposed stone work and beams, yet furnished in a beautiful contemporary style. Narrow stairs lead to the first floor lounge with wood burning stove and comfy sofas for cosying up on chillier evenings while the unique window seat in the eaves gives the most breathtaking views out over Newport town, the golden sands of the beach and out to sea, you will not want to move from the window seat where you can relax and soak up the view. On the ground floor, the modern fitted kitchen leads into a spacious dining area where you can enjoy family meals, doors fold back opening the whole of the dining room up onto a decked area and enclosed, lawned garden, ideal for an alfresco meal or summer barbecue while you admire the sea view.
The shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries in the popular coastal town of Newport are only half a mile away with the beautiful Newport Sands beach a little further on. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and explore the beautiful coves and beaches that abound or take one of the many footpaths and walk up Carn Ingli, the views over this dramatic coastline are stunning.
A wonderful holiday cottage for couples and families who will just want to return again and again.
