The apartment, ideal for a family or friends, sleeps up to 5 people and has been thoughtfully decorated throughout, with everything guests might need for a relaxed and happy holiday. The front door is reached via an elegant stone staircase. The entrance leads directly into the open-plan living room with a sofa, flat-screen TV and dining table with chairs. There is a pretty balcony off the living area which looks out over the courtyard in the heart of the building. Bedroom: The airy master bedroom is furnished with a king-size double bed, a single bed and a wardrobe. There is an outside door leading out to another courtyard.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Location
The apartment is in the heart of Gignese, with many amenities such as a bakery and supermarkets within walking distance. Gignese is quieter than the lakeside towns, with a laidback atmosphere and quaint winding streets.

Stresa (10 minutes) is a charming resort town right on the lake. It is known for its villas and palazzi. Spend the day exploring the Borromean Islands with a hop-on-hop-off boat trip or visit the Friday morning market for the best local ingredients to cook at home.

For children in search of some excitement, there are two adventure parks close by. Mottarone Adventure Park (12 minutes) which takes you out into nature and Alpyland (23 minutes) which offers rollercoaster rides on the summit of Mount Mottarone. Both make great days out.

Milan’s international Malpensa airport is a 50-minute drive.
