Town: The pretty market town of Dursley is located under Stinchcombe Hill and is part of the 'Cotswold Edge', where long distant views of the Severn Vale and River Severn can be enjoyed. Dursley has a beautiful pillared Georgian Market House, which dates back to 1738, where many markets are held including a very popular Farmer's Market. The Cotswold Way passes through the centre of the town, and there are pubs, including ‘The Old Spot Pub’, which is regularly voted Gloucestershire Real Ale Pub of the Year, shops, restaurants, an indoor swimming pool and a golf course. The waterfront city of Gloucester with it's Victorian docklands, the beautiful town of Cirencester, known as the Gateway to the Cotswolds and the regency spa town of Cheltenham, with beautiful Georgian architecture and famous racecourse are and all within easy reach. There's something for everyone in this unspoilt part of the Cotswolds.
