Excellent location opposite Marie Louise Gardens (great for sunbathing/picnics) and a 5 minute walk from the Alberts Shed and the Woodstock pub. 15 minutes walk to Didsbury village with restaurants bars and shops and to Burton road with independent retail shops, formal and informal restaurants, and bars which includes The Metropolitan pub.
In terms of the outdoors, Didsbury has extensive walks and access to the countryside. On your doorstep is the river Mersey, Woods and Chorlton Water Park, Fletcher Moss. This runs all the way down to Beech Road in Chorlton which has some independent restaurants and bars. Close by is Chorlton which resembles a mini London suburb.
The bus stop is a minute walk out of cul-de-sac which takes you straight into Manchester and within seconds you are on the A5103 into Manchester and out to Cheshire. Two minutes from the M60 and M56, so good for commuting. East Didsbury train station is a few minutes drive away and the closest tram stop is 'West Didsbury' (15 minutes walk)

In terms of the outdoors, Didsbury has extensive walks and access to the countryside. On your doorstep is the River Mersey, open woodland and Chorlton Water Park. You can easily access the River Mersey from the house, through a cut through, which can take you up towards Fletcher Moss Gardens and Didsbury Village or in the opposite direction towards Chorlton Water Park and Sale Water Park. These are excellent route for walking, running and cycling and you can stop on Beach Road for lunch or breakfast. Chorlton itself has an excellent array of independent bars and restaurants and closely resembles a mini London suburb. There are some lovely local parks for
children.
