This delightful second floor apartment located in a 500-year-old Grade II listed former Tea Warehouse is decorated to a high standard with a neutral colour palette and homely interiors, plus views of Alnwick Castle. Sleeping two guests, Ceylon is the perfect place to rest after a day exploring Alnwick and beautiful Northumberland.
The Space:
Light floods the kitchen, living and dining area from the window which showcases views of the bustling Alnwick town centre down below. The perfect place to unwind, you can relax on the sofa and watch the flat screen Freeview TV or enjoy a hearty meal at the breakfast bar style table. Exposed oak beams add plenty of character to the place.
Ultra stylish, the kitchen features modern hardware and all the appliances you need. With everything you could need to prepare meals easily, you can really make the most of your self-catering stay.
With a neutral colour scheme mixed in with soft shades of light mauve on the rear wall and green in the soft furnishings, the bedroom is a tranquil space. A double bed, drawers, wall-mounted shelf and a wall mirror complete the space.
The ensuite bathroom includes a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin for your convenience.

Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to Ceylon are accessed via a key safe box, and full details are provided prior to check in.
A parking disc is provided, allowing for free on-street parking around Alnwick.
One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay at Ceylon per reservation.
Please note that the building is 500 years old and therefore the single-glazed windows cannot be updated.

There are a number of bus stops throughout Alnwick. Hop on the X20 which takes you through to Newcastle with stops in beautiful areas of Northumberland like Alnmouth and Amble. The X18 route travels between Newcastle and Berwick-upon-Tweed with stops in Morpeth, Amble and Seahouses.
The nearest airport is Newcastle International, 34 miles away from Alnwick.
