Timeless elements create a welcoming space with guests at its heart. The residence is set amid Santorini's picturesque countryside with ocean views. The nearby village of Megalohori is one of the loveliest on Santorini.

The Space:
The space:

Simple, uncluttered, and cozy elegance defines this single-level apartment. Modern convenience and style merge beautifully with Cycladic details to create a comfortable space for our guests to enjoy throughout their stay. The residence is air-conditioned, and there is Wifi throughout.

This space has direct access to a spacious balcony with scenic views you will long remember. The balcony offers a hether it's your morning coffee as the sun rises or an aperitive before dinner,

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, and coffee maker. Also included are cooking essentials such as pots, pans, cutlery, plates, cups, oil, salt, and pepper.

Our Cycladic culture is also evident in the bathroom, which elegantly merges modern and Cycladic architectural details, including a natural stone sink.

Also provided are a hair dryer, iron, shampoo, soap, and toilet paper.

The Neighborhood:
The area:

Megalohori is one of the most picturesque villages on the island of Santorini, and no cars are permitted inside the village. The village's roots date back to the 1600s.

This charming village and the surrounding area are dotted with Cycladic traditional houses, historic mansions, pirate hideaways, and vineyards. The village's picturesque narrow, pebbled streets are quiet, with no car traffic, and are lined with small shops, boutiques, and beautiful mansions that once belonged to wealthy landowners. Locals have managed to preserve or restore the village's traditional, charming characteristics.

Megalochori Square is a traditional square lined with trees, tavernas, and restaurants. It's a lovely spot for people-watching, as many locals gather to play cards or socialize.

Visitors will often visit the beautiful Chapel of Agios Nikolaos and its stunning location. It is built into the rocky cliffs overlooking the Aegean, with its bell tower and a triptych of bells constructed in a pyramid formation. The ocean views are spectacular from here!

The southwestern plains of Santorini surrounding the village are filled with vineyards. They stretch from Caldera on the west to a traditional settlement built on the banks of a stream to the east.

There are two remote beaches to the east on the Caldera side: Plaka beach and Thermi beach. They are not accessible by car. The volcanic beach of Thermi, named for the nearby church, sits just below Megalochori and is worth a visit. However, you'll have to reach it on foot along a steep and narrow path. If you're willing to take the 30-minute trek, you'll likely be rewarded with few people on the beach.

The town of Fira town is nine kilometers. Nearby wineries include:

Antoniou Winery, Boutari Winery, and Gavalas Vineyard.

The ancient archaeological site of Akrotiri, once a vibrant enclave of Minoan culture, is nearby.

Santorini's main airport is about seven kilometers away.
