North Sands Rest is a relaxing, two-bedroom first floor apartment perfect for families and groups of friends. Ideally located for exploring Scarborough, you’ll find North Marine Road Cricket Ground, the Open Air Theatre, and Peasholm Park all on your doorstep. Comfortably sleeping up to four guests, North Sands Rest is also dog friendly so feel free to bring your four-legged friends along with you for a stay to remember on the North Yorkshire Coast.

The Space:
North Sands Rest has an open plan living, kitchen and dining area. Featuring crisp white walls, along with comfortable modern furnishings, the space has a relaxing feel. The perfect place to kick back during your stay, you can unwind on the comfy sofa or armchair and enjoy quality time with your loved ones.

The kitchen also features neutral tones along with white cupboards. You’ll also find modern appliances so you can prepare meals easily.

Ideal for socialising, the dining area comes in the form of a pull-out wooden table and seating for all guests.

The property boasts two tranquil bedrooms. The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed with plush bedding and premium bed linens to ensure you have a great night’s sleep.

Perfect for children and teenagers, the second bedroom has a bunk bed with two singles, making North Sands Rest family friendly.

Head to the family bathroom and you’ll find a bathtub and an overhead shower along with a WC and wash basin. With a fresh and modern feel, North Sands Rest’s bathroom is stylish and calming.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to North Sands Rest can be accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in.

A parking scratch card is provided, allowing for free on-street parking in Scarborough’s B2 zone.

A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at North Sands Rest per reservation.

The Neighborhood:
North Sands Rest is located on Trafalgar Square in Scarborough, an attractive Victorian garden square that is ideal for dog owners and children. A short walk leads you to the North Cliff Gardens with a path down to the North Bay beach. You'll also find a grocery shop and deli just a two-minute walk away.

There’s North Bay, just a short walk away from North Sands Rest, and South Bay at Scarborough, and both are extremely popular with visitors young and old, thanks to the golden sands, and sheltered location. From sunbathing and swimming to surfing and paddleboarding, there is something for everyone here. On any day, they are great fun; on a sunny day, there’s nowhere better!

Additionally, the town is home to a variety of attractions, including the historic Scarborough Castle, the Scarborough Spa, the Stephen Joseph Theatre.

Getting Around:
Scarborough Railway Station has regular routes to locations all across Yorkshire, with direct access to Filey, Malton, York, Bridlington, Driffield, Beverley, Hull, Brough, Goole, Doncaster and Sheffield.

A number of bus routes can be found operating throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 to visit Filey and Bridlington, take a trip on the X93 to travel to Whitby, Guisborough and Middlesbrough, or board on the 128 to take in the sights of Pickering and Helmsley.

The nearest airports at Teesside International and Humberside International, both of which are roughly 60 miles away from Scarborough.
