The Property
"At Last" is a fantastic chalet bungalow, situated in the pretty village of West Beckham, just 10 minutes from the North Norfolk coastline. The property has recently undergone a complete programme of refurbishment and renovation to create a luxurious two-bedroom home with off-street parking and a superb enclosed garden. The owners have thought of everything, from fabulous lighting, an abundance of natural light, a brilliant sound system, televisions in the bedrooms and ultra comfortable beds. The house has been beautifully styled and designed and the finish and furnishings are exemplary throughout.
The house is approached through double gates into the gravel drive and on entering 'At Last', the bright and airy hallway leads directly into the modern glass fronted open plan living space.
The fantastic bright open plan kitchen, dining room and sitting room is a sociable, yet cosy space to relax and enjoy time together. The space works brilliantly, with a kitchen area and island unit, dining table and chairs and sitting room area with a wood burning stove to curl up in front of in the winter months. The space is light and airy with large glass panel sliding doors leading outside to the fabulous garden (see further details below) and there is even a spinning bike for fitness fanatics*. Off the hall is the utility room, which has a door from outside; perfect for cleaning muddy paws or shedding muddy boots and a downstairs loo.
The kitchen is thoughtfully designed with two ovens, a full height fridge freezer, Quooker instant hot water tap and island unit with stools. There is also a beautiful dining area with a large table and chairs.
Also on the ground floor, there is a super king bedroom (which can be arranged as a twin), facing the front of the property, with a smart television on the wall, overhead fan for the warmer evenings and en-suite with large walk in shower and rainfall shower.
The staircase, leads up to the second super king bedroom, again with a luxury en suite shower room, wall-mounted TV, Velux windows, built in wardrobes and blackout blinds.
Outside
Approached through double gates off the street, there is a gravelled area for parking two/three cars (further parking is available on the road outside the property) and a quiet alfresco area to the side.
The garden is to the rear of the property and is accessed via the sliding doors in the living room. There is a sun terrace with a table and benches, steps lead down to the garden area, featuring a large pergola with retracting roof cover, providing shade in the summer, and a large luxurious corner sofa with table, modern sun loungers and BBQ area. The garden lends itself perfectly to alfresco dining and relaxing. This hidden gem is not only a perfect location for complete relaxation but is also ideal for lovely walks, cycling, birdwatching and enjoying Norfolk's big skies.
