The Fox's Den is one of our latest additions to "The Galloway Steading". Crafted in Galloway forest timber, stunning views and a fully enclosed pet* friendly garden, this pod is perfect for a getaway. A hot tub and fire pit ensure you can fully enjoy beautiful views and gorgeous black skies at night. With a fully equipped kitchen and shower room, with 1 king size bed we're hoping this is the perfect base for your couples adventure. *£10/pet. Book via our website for the best deal.

The Space:
Your private pod is part of The galloway steading which currently has 5 cabins and a cottage available for renting. The cabin is situated in a private area, looking on to the beautiful countryside landscape.

Guest Access:
Your cabin is entirely private. You are welcome to use our secret garden which houses a swing set, play house and picnic table.

The Neighborhood:
Countryside. 15 minutes from Stranraer for all amenities, 25 minutes from Newton Stewart. Surrounded by farmland and lovely views and only 10 min walk to beach in one direction and 5 min walk to river and woodland walks. The perfect setting for a relaxing getaway or to simply sit in your private hot tub or garden and enjoy the beautiful dark skies.

Getting Around:
Glenluce, Scotland, despite being a smaller village, offers a variety of attractions for short-term visitors. Here are some notable places to explore:

Glenluce Abbey: Immerse yourself in history by visiting the ruins of Glenluce Abbey. Dating back to the 12th century, this Cistercian monastery provides a fascinating glimpse into Scotland's medieval past.

There is a bus service from the village but a vehicle is really needed to get around in the countryside

We are pet friendly here at the Galloway steading all of our accommodation has secure private safe areas for your family friend that coupled with lots of lovely walks all around us should ensure a fun break for them too. There's a £10 charge per dog per stay max 3 per accommodation payable on arrival.

The accommodation was amazing, surrounded by beautiful views. Really clean with everything we needed. Used the onsite shop for firewood and s'more kit. A lovely site in a beautifulpart of the country, will definitely return to explore the area more
