AN IDEAL HOUSE FOR A FAMILY STAY
 
This house in Arenys de Mar has a private garden on one level from which we can see the sea and the port of Arenys!
 
The location is ideal to enjoy the different areas of the garden, typical of the Mediterranean coast. This little house is located on a small hill, in a very quiet and not very busy residential area but at the same time a few meters from the center of town, the beach and the train station.
 
Although it is not essential, we always recommend coming with your own vehicle, but it is not a problem because you can park within the same property.
 
 
 
    THE HOUSE AND THE SPACE
Comfortable and spacious, preserving the essence of a family house from the 60s.
 
Entering from the main door we do not find the hall, to the right we find the first two bedrooms and we make our way to the large dining room and the kitchen.
From the living room, we access the other two rooms. In total there are 3 bedrooms, with a double bed and the 4th room has a sofa and a small desk in case someone has to work or do homework.
 
Kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer and appliances.
A washing machine is also available.

All rooms have a fan and window overlooking the garden.
 
There is a bathroom with shower available and several outdoor spaces where you can organize a meal, enjoy a board game or a moment of reading.

The access door from the street is private and works manually.
Ample space to park 2 vehicles.

Garden with several spaces to play, run and enjoy sunny days.
There are two small tables for outdoor meals.
The entire garden must be preserved, green spaces respected.

- Check-in from 16:00 to 21:00.
Guests must contact us in advance to inform us of their expected arrival time to organize their welcome with us!
We always try to adapt, but in high season it will depend on availability.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Just 5 minutes by car, you will find the center of the town. 5 minutes away there is a commercial area with 3 supermarkets and a renowned fast food restaurant and also a cinema with 8 screens.
 
A 6-minute drive away is one of the largest fishing ports in Catalonia. In general, we recommend it to all our guests to enjoy the restaurants with a wide range of fresh fish and seafood!
 
In addition, you can go to any bar on the beach (our famous beach bars or 'XIRIS', as we say colloquially) to try a real paella or have something accompanied by some tapas.
 
We will recommend some of the restaurants in the area.
 
We are very lucky with our location, close to Barcelona, but with all the advantages of being in a coastal town, enjoying the sea, the quiet atmosphere of Mediterranean towns and all our variety of gastronomic offer.

- 50 minutes by car or train in the center of Barcelona.
- 15 minutes walk to the First beach of Arenys de Mar.
- 10 minutes walk from the train station
- 30 minutes from the Circuit de Catalunya.
- 20 minutes by car to the entrance of the Montnegre and Corridor Natural Park.
- 34 minutes by car from the Montseny Natural Park with its highest peak of 1,700 m. and many tracking possibilities!

- June 23. Verbena de San Juan, 'Revetlla de Sant Joan' a festivity that brings together families and friends around the bonfires to celebrate the shortest night of the year! Setting off firecrackers, dancing, singing, and some, waiting to see the sunrise!
 
 
    HOW TO GET AROUND THE AREA
    PRIVATE TRANSPORT
We advise on how to combine the use of private transport with the use of public transport.
 
-OWN VEHICLE: Some may consider it essential, others may not. We recommend it for greater comfort.
You can get around by walking, by taxi or taking the train, using the bus or your own vehicle or you can get around by combining them.
Sometimes it is more convenient to have a vehicle so you can explore more places or go shopping at the supermarket.
 
    PUBLIC TRANSPORT
There are different services and lines that connect Arenys de Mar with the surrounding area and Barcelona.
 
-Taxi: There is a regular taxi service.
Services must be reserved in advance.
 
-Bus: Day and night services.
Connection with the train station, other towns in Maresme and the city of Barcelona.
 
-Train: The closest train station is ARENYS DE MAR.
The route in Plaza Cataluña lasts between 50-55 minutes.
 
 
    BARCELONA
The city is about 40 minutes away by car.
Currently, there is legislation on vehicles that can circulate in the city, for more information you can search for ZBE Barcelona (Low Emissions Zone - Zona de Baixes Emissions).
 
 
     INTERACTION WITH OUR GUESTS
We give independence to our guests, but we are available if they need us.
Being able to get to know each other is important to us and we like to meet at the accommodation to hand over the keys.
 
WELCOME HOURS AND KEY DELIVERY
4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
We always need to organize our meeting at the accommodation in advance.
In High Season, arrival time must be notified as far in advance as possible.
On designated dates such as F1, MotoGp and Saturdays in July and August, many arrivals usually coincide.
 
WELCOME AND DELIVERY OF KEYS OUTSIDE HOURS
Normal check-in time is from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Before 4:00 p.m. Depending on availability.
Check in from 9:01 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Price: €30.00
Check in from 00h01 to 02h00 Price: €50.00
Outside of these hours there is no handover of keys.
 
Sunday rate: arrival or departure in high season may result in an increase in the rental price. Price: €50.00
 
IN ADDITION, DURING THE WELCOME WE WILL DO:
 
- Explanation of the rules, considerations and instructions of the house, along with recommendations to enjoy the environment.
 
- Explanations for check-out. (Exit).
 
- Collection of Tourist Tax: must be paid upon arrival in cash or credit card.
Tourist tax cost: €1 per person per night, maximum 7 nights and only people over 16 years old
 
- Deposit: it will be made upon arrival through a pre-authorization with a credit card.
 
- Signing of the house rules.
- Signing of the temporary tourist rental contract.
 
 
    OTHER HIGHLIGHTS
 
Please check that you will be able to comply with the house rules before making a reservation. For us it is very important to respect the tranquility of the residential neighborhood where the house is located.

    HOUSE RULES
- It is not rented to groups under 25 years of age.
 
- The Rental Contract of the property for the Tourist Season will be accepted when booking, and will be signed prior to handing over the keys.
 
- Acceptance of the deposit. This will be done upon arrival through pre-authorization with a credit card
 
  - All people in the reservation must identify themselves by showing their identification document. They will be requested before and during the welcome.
 
  - During their stay, minors must always be supervised by an adult, they are the sole responsibility of their parents/guardians.
 
- Garbage should also be removed from the accommodation periodically to avoid odors and dirt. It must be done according to municipal specifications.
 
- We all have to respect and preserve the resources we have, please avoid waste and negligent use of resources.
 
Abusive consumption or negligent use of electricity, water and gas. It is not included and can be deducted from the deposit.
 
    IT'S NOT ALLOWED
 
- Host or invite more people than those registered in the reservation form.
 
  - Carry out noisy activities (music, loud conversations...) starting at 9:00 p.m. and before 09:00 a.m. It is very important to respect the rest of our neighbors.
 
  - Organize events, parties, bachelor parties, as well as any inappropriate behavior.
 
  - Use bath towels for the beach or pool. Returning these in poor condition will incur an additional expense.
 
- Guests are not allowed to smoke inside the house; If they wish, they can smoke in the outdoor spaces of the property. In this case, use ashtrays and respect garden areas, terraces and/or balconies.
 
- Groups of students are not allowed.
 
- No pets allowed.
 
- Charging electric cars is not allowed in the house
