About this property
Toffee's Barn - Lamberhurst
Conveniently located on the edge of the pretty Kent village of Lamberhurst, within 2 miles of several good pubs and a well-placed M&S services, this a great place for exploring the Kent and Sussex countryside. Those looking to soak up the local atmosphere can enjoy The Pantiles in nearby Royal Tunbridge Wells (6 miles), Scotney Castle and the adjacent hop farm walk (3 miles) and Bayham Abbey (3.5 miles), or take a stroll around Lamberhurst Vineyard (2 miles), one of the oldest vineyards in Kent. Keen walkers can take advantage of numerous footpaths that lead straight from the front door and cross the beautiful High Weald AONB. For those looking for some family entertainment, Bedgebury Pinetum is just 6.5 miles away and Bewl Water is 4 miles, both of which offer activities to keep all the family entertained. Those wishing to venture slightly further afield, take a short trip to the coastal towns of Bexhill, Hastings and Rye, or walk the beach at Camber Sand with its vast bird sanctuary, all within 22 miles. Step inside this beautiful barn conversion and into the light and airy open plan living area which offers uninterrupted views across the stunning Kent countryside. The lounge area offers a comfy armchair and a sofa, which can be turned into a sofa bed for two guests, arranged around the Smart TV. A wing back armchair offers the perfect spot for curling up with a good book or to admire the local scenery and wildlife where you will even spot a herd of deer or the owners’ horses in the neighbouring field. The well-equipped kitchen offers everything a keen chef would need for whipping up a delicious meal, and a well-positioned dining table with seating is a great spot to gather everyone for dinner of for an evening of after dinner board games. After a busy day exploring the local area there is a choice of two king-size bedrooms for a relaxing night’s sleep. The property is completed with a modern family bathroom. French doors from the property lead outside where there is a secluded outdoor space that is a real suntrap and the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of something chilled whilst stargazing on a clear evening or watching the owls. A charcoal BBQ and table and chairs is perfect for outside entertaining, and as the night draws in, why not light the fire pit and toast some marshmallows. The barn is adjacent to 23 acres of fields and woods, but the garden is fenced off, making a great space for your four-legged friend. Being situated in such a stunning countryside setting, and convenient location, you’ll need a car to access the barn and to explore.
