About this property

Cottage at Hill Farm

Nestled within the countryside of Wichenford, this cottage offers a retreat within the expansive grounds of a working farm. Surrounded by rolling hills and views of the Malvern Hills. Just 0.6 miles from the National Trust's Wichenford Dovecote, which is a quaint 17th-century half-timbered dovecote and only 6 miles from the center of Worcester. For a family day out, West Midlands Safari Park is nearby, as is the stunning Witley Court, and many other local attractions for all ages.
An external step takes you inside to an open-plan layout downstairs, featuring a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy lounge area with sofa, chair and TV with Sky. A separate WC can also be found on this level. Stairs lead up to two inviting bedrooms, one boasting a king-size bed with ornate fireplace and an en suite shower room with WC. The other bedroom offers two 3ft single beds with large wardrobe. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower attachment and a WC.
Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with barbecue, and guests are welcome to enjoy the several miles of footpaths winding through the estate's grounds. The farm itself has horses, free range hens, and guinea fowl. A small lake is nearby, which is populated by ducks and a pair of swans. There are benches for sundowners to watch the wildlife. A peaceful pond adds to the charm, offering a spot for relaxation. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventures or simply a countryside escape, this cottage in Wichenford could be a great stay amidst nature.
