Stunning detached property set in its own grounds with all the luxurious touches throughout, perfect for families to get together and enjoy this spacious residence, with walks from the front door and only I.5 miles away from The Osprey Project. The vibrant historic market town of Machynlleth (3.8 miles) is home to the oldest street market in Britain, which you can explore every Wednesday. In addition to the town’s independent shops, restaurants and cafes, MOMA Wales (2.5 miles) is a must-see for art lovers and creative minds, showcasing modern Welsh art. From the front door join the coastal path and Glyndwr's Way footpath to explore the amazing surrounding scenery, or meander along the Dyfi Valley Way, following the River Dyfi from the estuary in Aberdyfi to the source at the summit of Aran Fawddwy. The long, sandy beach of Ynyslas is within 9 miles, and Aberdyfi and Snowdonia National Park are both within 15 miles.
This Grade II listed period farmhouse is steeped in history reaching back over 400 years with lovely period features and contemporary luxuries throughout, with all the thoughtful extras to enhance your stay. Once parked you can’t help but admire the beautiful setting and attractive house before entering. Once inside, in front of you is the outdoor conservatory with a sitting area to admire the garden and far-reaching views towards the estuary. Continue through to the spacious kitchen flooded with natural light, if eating in it has all the equipment you need to make a simple breakfast or a celebration meal, along with a Smart TV for menu inspiration or background music. There is also a useful boot room and utility area. When your meal is ready relax at the breakfast kitchen table or in the stunning dining room with a warming log burner, the perfect setting for your evening entertainment. After dinner head into the lounge with comfortable sofas and chairs, a Smart TV, and an inglenook fireplace with a log burner for cosy nights in. When ready for bed there are four gorgeous bedrooms to choose from. Walk upstairs through the landing gallery with a feature fireplace where you will find the super-king-size with dual aspect windows and a spacious en-suite bathroom, the super-king-size with an en-suite shower room, the lovely twin, and the super-king-size with Velux windows bringing in lots of light, whichever room you choose there are lovely views to wake up to. There is also the stylish family bathroom on this floor, perfect for a leisurely start to the day before a full day out exploring the area.
Set in large grounds to explore with direct access to the coastal path and numerous walks to enjoy this stunning location with unrivalled views over the Dyfi Valley and estuary. Gather on the paved terrace, perfect for alfresco dining, play games on the extensive lawn and head to the viewing point with seating, and a charcoal BBQ, to embrace the estuary views from sunrise to sunset. There are outside taps, both hot and cold, to wash down the dogs and your bikes.
