Beautiful penthouse in Benalmadena with uninterrupted sea views
Welcome to this luxurious southwest facing penthouse apartment with 5 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 350 square meters living space divided between 3 floors.
The apartment spans approximately 270 sqm and boasts an additional 80 sqm of terraces across 3 levels. The terraces face southwest, offering the best sun exposure on the coast, from early morning to late evening, with panoramic views of the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. On clear days, you can even catch a glimpse of the mountains in Morocco.
On the main level, there's a beautifully furnished living and dining area with access to a large terrace with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, and fridge with ice maker. This level also features a bathroom.
On the floor below, there are 2 bathrooms and 5 spacious bedrooms with ample closet space. The master bedroom boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, offering dreamlike views. Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms (new from 2017).
On the top floor, there's a rooftop terrace/solarium of approximately 65 sqm with incredible views. The lounge area has glass curtains and an outdoor kitchen. There is also a shower and tub.
Additionally, the apartment is equipped with a Samsung Smart TV 46" in the living room, internet access (Fiber), outdoor furniture, Weber gas grill, sun loungers, bed linen, towels, high-chair, travel cot, adult travel beds, all windows are secured and lockable, and glass railings on terraces.
Communal pool area with some green space. One of the pools is a children's pool.
The apartment has 5 bedrooms and space for 10, but additional 2 foldable beds are available - making room for a total of 12 people.
LOCATION
The apartment is located in a quiet and child-friendly area, with a nice playground nearby. Just a stone's throw away, there's a large supermarket with fresh meat and fish, open from 9:00 - 21:30 every day (closed on Sundays).
For those looking for nightlife, it's only a 5-minute drive to the nightlife in Fuengirola or Benalmadena. Several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk from the apartment, and so is the beach. There's also a casino about a 15-minute walk from the apartment.
In Benalmadena, there are plenty of activities for the whole family;
Selwo Marina (dolphin shows, monkeys, penguins, etc.), Benalmadena Sea Life Aquarium, Crocodile park, and several large playgrounds for children (including Paloma Park, a fantastic park where peacocks, ducks, turtles, rabbits, etc., roam freely).
There are also several large water parks nearby, as well as a zoo in Fuengirola.
Benalmadena boasts a wonderful harbour that has been awarded the “Best Marina in the World” twice. Here, there are rows of restaurants, and on each side of the marina there are miles of beautiful beaches.
There are also opportunities for hiking in the mountains. There's a cable car up to the mountain behind Benalmadena, which is a great starting point for eagle shows, hiking, or cycling.
There are several golf courses in the area, and in Benalmadena, there are two; Benalmadena Golf and Torrequebrada Golf, both about a 5-minute drive away.
GETTING AROUND
It's only a 5-minute drive to Benalmadena Center, Benalmadena Pueblo, Mijas, Fuengirola, and Arroyo de la Miel, 10 minutes to Torremolinos, and about 30 minutes to Marbella and Puerto Banus. An additional 10 minutes and you’ll find yourself in Estepona. From Malaga Airport to the apartment it is only a 20-minute drive.
There are both buses and trains from Malaga airport for those who don't want to rent a car. The train can also be used between Fuengirola and Malaga city and runs three times an hour. The bus stop is right below the apartment, and the train station in Toremuelle is about a 10–15-minute walk from the apartment.
If you wish to rent a car, there is parking available in the garage. The elevator from the garage takes you up to the apartment. Elevator directly from the garage to the apartment.
Taxis, Uber, and Bolt are always available.
