Do Not Stay Here. Avoid at All Costs
A poor visit. There is a tourist tax in Montenegro. Generally the local property owner/manager handles. Here, no. We went to Tivat tourist office to register and pay. They had no record of local agent/owner from checkin instructions. They tried calling them and said was a Turkey number and would not continue. So we called them and attempted to get the representative to provide the required info to no avail. We were promised a call back in a short while to help fix things. Never got a call back. We ended up going to police station and officer on duty heard our story and called Inspector who gave us ok to continue our stay. Also contacted Travel Staytion who seems to be an agent of the owner who collects the rent and they said they would contact owner. Never heard from them either. To top it off the WiFi was turned off late our last night there and password changed. Imagine being in other country without being able to connect. Not good.
Aside from these issues, location seems close to Kotor which it is in distance but can take 1-2 hours to drive as traffic is beyond horrendous.
Our advice is stay either in Kotor and walk to town or in Perast or that side of town. The bay and Kotor are lovely and worth seeing but pick where you stay carefully.
And AVOID this place.
