Welcome to Cowlas, a rustic lodge in with picturesque views of the Welsh Hills, with hot tub. The perfect escape for any couples retreat or small group getaway.. Ground Floor:
Living room/kitchen: Smart TV, Woodburner, Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher
Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and fuel for wood burner included. Highchair. Welcome pack. Grounds with patio, sitting-out area and garden furniture. Hot tub (private). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: This property has a natural water supply via well.. Located in the heart of mid-Wales’ most stunning scenery and only a short distance to Snowdonia National Park. Cowlas is a gorgeous location for a romantic couple’s retreat, a getaway with three friends or a small family. Guests can get acquainted with nature with picturesque views across the rural Welsh scenery. Sit out under the stars and enjoy the private hot tub, ready on arrival. Or relax on the outdoor seating, including a veranda with ambient lighting and leafy plants and you can instantly feel at ease.
Cowlas has been tastefully decorated with rustic wood accents. Featuring a double ground floor bedroom with views across the valley, where guests can enjoy an undisturbed night of rest within the Welsh countryside. The bathroom hosts a double shower in which guests can unwind. With central heating and a cosy wood burner to provide warmth during the winter months, Cowlas is the perfect bolthole all year-round. Outside, the large veranda is an ideal location to enjoy a morning coffee whilst sampling the fresh country air.
If you can be drawn away from the lodge to explore the area, only four miles away is Machynlleth. With local artisan shops, independent cafes, and local crafts to see and a weekly market, it’s a real community. Cowlas is also within easy reach of the coast at Borth and Aberdyfi, as well as Cadair Idris and Dolgellau, ideal for walkers and cyclists. It’s 15 minutes or so to Dyfi Ospreys, Ynyshir RSPB, Talyllyn Railway. Follow local footpaths and cycle routes and see nature at its best with Red Kites soaring in the skies above. Beach 19½ miles.
The water is from a spring, well or borehole, and not a mains supply.
