Featuring beautiful furnishings and with a spacious feel throughout, the holiday let has a welcoming look. You'll also find the River Kent a short walk away, ideal for enjoying peaceful strolls! The perfect escape for couples, adult groups or families of three, Riverbank will provide a comfortable base when exploring the Lake District and Cumbria.

The Space:
Riverbank has a light and spacious open plan living and dining area. With a light colour palette of cream and white, there is a tranquil feel. Personal touches are added throughout the artwork which creates a feeling of being at home. At the end of a busy day, relax on the sofas and turn on the flat screen TV. Start your morning with a homemade breakfast at the dining area.

Ultra stylish, the kitchen has light grey cabinets and white splash back. Silver hardware adds to the modern look. Fully equipped, the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals easily with modern appliances and cookware.

The bungalow has two bedrooms. Head to the master bedroom and you’ll find a comfortable double bed and a traditional wardrobe. Open the curtains and step through the door and you’ll enter a conservatory which showcases the beautiful garden on offer at Riverbank. Wooden flooring completes the look in the bedroom.

The second bedroom is cosy and welcoming with a single bed, making it the perfect match for groups travelling with children or teenagers.

Two sofa beds are also available at Riverbank and these can be made up for your stay upon request. When made up, the occupancy can be increased to five.

Featuring a combination of beige and white, high shine walls, and silver hardware, the family bathroom at Riverbank is sophisticated and modern. A walk-in shower, WC and vanity unit complete the space.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full bungalow. The keys to Riverbank are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided before check-in.

Private on-site parking is available for up to three vehicles.

Kendal is no ordinary market town - the streets are alive with vibrant events, quality shopping and a thriving arts and culture scene.

Full of historic character, Kendal hosts a web of interweaving alleyways and cobbled yards. Whilst the ruins of medieval Kendal castle stand on Castle Hill, with great views over the town.

A home to passionate artisans, if you love food and drink, you’ll love Kendal. Delve into the farm shops, discover local bakers and brewers or browse for local delicacies at the weekly market.

Kendal offers easy access to stunning untamed countryside. Stroll for a while on the banks of the River Kent or head to Scout Scar for breathtaking views over the Lakeland fells.

Getting Around:
Kendal Train Station has regular routes to Bolton, Chorley, Manchester, Lancaster, Preston and Windermere. Easy access to and from London can also be found from the nearby Oxenholme Train Station.

A number of bus routes can be found operating in Kendal with direct routes to Keswick, Kirkby Lonsdale, Lancaster, Penrith, Ulverston and Windermere.

The nearest airport is Teesside, 54 miles away from Kendal. Other nearby airports include Leeds Bradford, Liverpool and Manchester.
