NEW FOR 2024 - A lovely two-bedroom cottage set in the sought after town of St Just where you are in walking distance to some of Cornwall's most spectacular and dramatic coastline

Pebble is a picture perfect traditional cottage set on Cape Cornwall Street behind a pretty front garden. You walk into a charming semi open plan sitting room and Kitchen. Its spacious and filled with character and charm boasting comfortable, relaxed accommodation.

It’s the ideal base for exploring the far west of Cornwall and beyond, with quirky shops, artisan cafes and plenty of art galleries close by. If you’re bringing your four-legged friend they will be in heaven with all the local walks and coastline when it’s just too good to be inside.

LOCATION

The whole town of St Just is a UNESCO world heritage site and surrounded by wild moors and dramatic coastline. If feeling energetic try exploring the stunning Tinner’s Way running along the coast from Cape Cornwall all the way to St Ives. It’s an ancient route from the Bronze Age and where the tin and copper ore were transported along the way from St Just to Hayle.

St Just is a friendly town that feels lost in time with an array of great local shops, a deli, a butcher, four pubs and a small local supermarket for your everyday needs. Surrounding the town are the most spectacular stretches of coastline and fantastic walks from the doorstep. Sennen Cove with its glorious surfing beach is ten minutes away as is Portheras Cove, a hidden and stunning local’s cove. Travelling further east within twenty minutes you can be in Marazion with its fabulous beach overlooking the famous St Michaels Mount, St Ives, Mousehole and Penzance.

LIVING

The cosy living room centres around the all-important wood burner (in season we will leave you enough logs to get you going for a night or two). Sink into the comfortable sofa or armchair after a long day exploring the coast and switch on the tv to enjoy a family film evening.

COOKING & EATING

If you choose to eat in you won’t be disappointed with this well-equipped kitchen. There is an electric oven and grill with 4 ring hob, undercounter fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and microwave. Cook up a feast and gather everyone around the dining table to reminisce on the day's adventures or plan the next day’s activities.

SLEEPING

There are two front-facing bedrooms, continuing the light and airy seaside theme across the first floor. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes to store your belongings.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a king size bed with bedside tables and lamps. The window seat is a sweet spot to sit with a cup of tea and watch the world go by.

Bedroom 2: Perfect for children the light and airy second bedroom has twin beds and a bedside table with a lamp. The dressing table is the perfect place to pen a postcard home.

BATHING

A 3 Day Stay in June
This was a very last minute booking for ourselves and our two dogs. They host kindly agreed to allowing our dogs Gypsy and Storm to stay with us. The cottage is beautifully appointed with much attention to detail. The town of St Just has everything you need for a stay and is a short walk away. Perfectly located for walking along the coastal path and visiting Cape Cornwall. Would definitely stay again. Linda and Nick

We are The Cornish Way Limited. My name is Seb and together with assistance from Sarah and Lowenna we run The Cornish Way, a small local holiday agency managing a fine collection of cottages on behalf of their owners. Working from a converted dairy on the outskirts of Penzance together with our office dog, Baloo we are located close by to all the cottages.

The whole team live locally so always get in touch. We are usually on hand to help with your stay even if it's just a tip for a good local pub or beach!
