Cozy semi close to the town centre
The property was clean and nicely decorated and about a ten minute walk down hill to the town centre. The beds were very comfortable and the shower excellent. The host had thought of everything and had greeted us with a goody basket which was a lovely touch. All in all I really enjoyed my stay there were a couple of small issues which I have put in the what I didn’t like box but only in the interest of genuine feedback
Parking was very tight in a space located around the back of the house. Access to the space was up a steep single lane which serviced a few other houses and meant reversing half way back down the hill before being able to turn around and exit back down to the main road. The road was quite busy although the road noise was barely noticeable when inside the house. The picture showing the countryside from the patio area was actually of a hill the other side of the main road so not as peaceful as I expected. I had been emailed several times by SISU insisting the log burner should not be used, but on arrival it was all set up with logs kindling and matches which was a bit confusing. The fridge and freezer had been turned off and a new fridge had been put in the living room area but sadly no freezer compartment. I suppose I could have contacted the agent to ask for a freezer but as I was on holiday felt it was something they should have put in automatically for a self catering accommodation.
