About the host
Hosted by Corrina Griffiths
Hi- we are Dan & Corrina, we rent out our two bedrooms upstairs and we love meeting new people from differnt backgrounds, cultures & countries! Corrina works as a full time Seamstress from home :-repairing & altering clients clothes, Dan is a landscape designer. We enjoy cooking, music, reading, gardening, Art & crafting and looking after our baby grandson once a week.
Why they chose this property
Newhaven is a lovely busy town set near the port, we can go into Brighton and Eastbourne easily on the bus or train to enjoy music gigs, cinema, theatre, art and marina restaurants. we have made friends in the area and can walk to the sea and enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine near the beach. Shopping is right on our doorstep and if we want to catch a ferry to Dieppe its 10 minutes walk away!
What makes this property unique
We have a unique themed home, the house is decorated in a creative style that is bright and vibrant. The large kingsize bedroom (that sleeps 3) is Denim blue themed, the cosy double is Bee themed
and the large bathroom is Sea-Life themed. The courtyard garden has a scaffhold seating area giving it an industrial look, has a living garden roof and herbs in recycled gutters!
