About this property
The Colours of Soho, by Veeve
Right in the centre of the beating heart of Soho, this one-bedroom home is an ode to 21st century West End living. Combining a high-brow aesthetic with the offbeat allure of this famed neighbourhood, there’s no shortage of charm in here – from the parquet floors to the painted pink bedroom, the bold character of this apartment makes it a perfect microcosm of Soho.
The living room is at once spacious, charming and eccentric: an alluring powder blue hue adorns the walls, making the bolder colours of the décor around it really pop. On one wall, a classic fireplace and shelf; on the opposite, a magnificent bespoke array of shelves arranged at irregular intervals, providing a pleasing geometrical look. Three large windows throw ample natural light onto the space, where herringbone parquet floors, a leather sofa and cherry red furniture all bask in the sun.
The red tones continue through to the kitchen, where dark crimson cabinetry sits below a beautiful timber countertop. Plenty of natural light from the window gives it a warm atmosphere, and ample shelf room makes the most of the space available. Make yourself a delicious coffee using either a Bialetti stove top or a Cafetière.
The bedroom is a melting pot of delightful and complementary colours: panelled walls painted pink, a sky-blue blanket and a gold-coloured curtain each provide an infusion of character around the double bed. The adjoining bathroom embraces classic sensibilities, with an elegant, polished sideboard and traditional Victorian bath and shower fittings, plus a toilet and a wash basin.
We Love
With its unique character, irresistible charm and unbeatable location in the middle of vibrant Soho, this eclectic one-bedroom is the perfect getaway for those looking for unforgettable nights in London.
Home Truths:
No smoking or parties. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on request. The apartment is located on the second floor with no lift access. The kitchen is equipped with most key amenities, however it does not have a microwave. This is the heart of Soho and whilst the street is relatively quiet and the bedroom is at the back, deliveries may be heard from time to time. The host's cleaner, Maria, will clean on Tuesday mornings. Although we always endeavour for accuracy, there may be rare occasions where the listing photography and description do not provide an exact representation of the home’s amenities.

Why they chose this property
One of the liveliest areas of London — art, music, and performance are an essential part of this neighbourhood. It seems to spill out of iconic cultural landmarks like the Royal Opera House and out onto the buzzing main piazza, which is awash with impressive street performers daily. Stroll down the main thoroughfare, Long Acre and down to Seven Dials for a myriad of shops and restaurants, including iconic celebrity-haunt The Ivy.
