About this property
Ace Delights, by Veeve
An impressive three-bedroom family house located in Southfields and serving an ace stay for guests seeking to experience the best of Wimbledon. Located moments from the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, this three-bedroom home is sensational for those attending the world-famous Grand Slam. Outside of the championships, it has an unrivalled southwest London location with Southfields, Wimbledon Village and Wimbledon Common on the doorstep, plus easy access to Central London. The ultimate home for any guest after generous size, space and an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Serene, private and with lush verdant space, this semi-detached home showcases typical 1930s British architecture. Immediately inviting, the home is set off the road and is accessed by its own sunken driveaway (shared by the adjoining property) offering guests an added sense of privacy. Surrounded by leafy trees, a pathway winds through the front garden to deliver guests to the private front door.
Inside, the main living areas are located off the entrance hall, brilliantly light and composed. With a modern configuration, the large open-plan living space incorporates a dining area, contemporary kitchen and relaxed lounge. A double aspect allows views to both the front and rear garden, further illuminated by large bay windows to the front. Ideal for families or larger groups, this home’s conviviality is hard to beat with the kitchen’s breakfast bar for more informal mealtimes. Fitted with all modern appliances and fantastic surface space, the kitchen is undoubtedly a chef’s dream.
Beyond the kitchen, the bright lounge features fantastic lounge space with quintessential British furnishings to truly make guests feel at home. Though the room includes a flat-screen TV, guests will find it hard to take their eyes off the rear garden view via floor-to-ceiling glass doors which open out to a decked balcony terrace. An unrivalled space during summer, guests can enjoy sundowners whilst gazing at the London skyline and views of the private garden below. A flight of stairs takes you down to this lush, terraced space incorporating an outdoor lounge setting and barbeque for relaxed twilight suppers. Back inside, the ground floor further offers a WC, located just off the entrance hall.
Upstairs, the two bedrooms on the first floor are sun-drenched and spacious, each featuring double beds. This floor also hosts a family bathroom complete with a bath. Up a final flight upstairs, the top floor beckons with a spacious third bedroom, complete with an en-suite bathroom, and a dedicated games room, featuring a pool table and relaxation zones. A floor ideal for younger guests or for adults to simply escape and embrace their playful side.
Did we mention the location? Southfields, serviced by the District line, is only minutes away which makes this home all the more accessible for guests seeking to explore southwest London and beyond into the city.

Why they chose this property
Perhaps one of London’s most famous suburbs, this neighbourhood is home to Wimbledon Tennis Club, which hosts one of the most important and glamorous tennis tournaments in the world. But there’s more to Wimbledon than those few summer weeks of sport, strawberries and blinding tennis whites. It’s a close-knit community with an array of fantastic pubs, as well as local theatres and museums.
