Dream away in Schoorl....

If you are looking for a holiday home in a dream location, look no further. Duinroos is within walking distance of the beautiful wide sandy beach of Camperduin aan Zee, but also around the corner from the beautiful beaches of Schoorl aan Zee, Hargen and Bergen aan Zee. On all these beaches you can swim and sunbathe in the summer or enjoy a nice fish with a glass of wine on the terrace of one of the cozy beach pavilions in the area. In winter, you can warm up here after a refreshing walk on the beach with a hot chocolate and whipped cream. Just around the corner are the Schoorlse Duinen, a beautiful nature reserve for walking, cycling or mountain biking, so be sure to bring your bicycles. Parking is available near the holiday home.

Duinroos is located in a quiet area in Schoorl and Camperduin along a quiet road in a communal courtyard of a holiday complex and has a nice terrace with garden furniture where you can enjoy something to eat. The living room with seating area and dining table is nice and light and there is a kitchenette and bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and there is a Nespresso and kettle. The bathroom is equipped with a sink, shower and a toilet. You enter the bedroom with a double bed via a step.

Surroundings

This holiday home has a great location on the edge of Schoorl, 850 meters from the wide sandy beach and the beautiful sea of ​​Camperduin. While walking or cycling through the beautiful nature reserve the Schoorlse Duinen, where the salty smell of the sea mixes with the fresh scent of the dunes and pine trees, the stress of everyday life immediately slips away. The cozy center of Schoorl has nice shops and restaurants and you must have climbed the Klimduin once, children and adults love it! The charming artists' village of Bergen is a short distance away and Alkmaar with its beautiful historic center is also definitely worth a visit.

Entsprach nicht der Beschreibung, Vertragsbruch
Die Ferienwohnung Duinroos wurde uns als "Traumvilla" verkauft. Die absolut minimalistische Ausstattung und mehrere Mängel ließen dies aber eher zu einer Albtraumvilla mutieren: Es gab keine Geschirrspülmaschine, obwohl diese im Ausschreibungstext angekündigt war. Im Bad war der Abfluss vom Waschbecken undicht, die Klospülung lief unkontrolliert weiter. In der Dusche gab es keinerlei Abstellmöglichkeit fürs Duschgel und Shampoo. Die feuchten Handtücher ließen sich nicht an dem an der Wand befindlichen Handtuchhalter aufhängen. Es gab nur ein Weinglas, ein weiteres wurde nachgelierfert. In der Stehlampe fehlte die Glühbirne, diese wurde nicht nachgeliefert. Für den Induktionsherd und die Mikroweille gab es keinerlei Beschreibung. Beides konnten wir deshalb nicht nutzen. Die Nachttischlampen waren mangels Lampenschirme so grell, dass wir sie mit Zeitungspapier abdecken mussten. Vom Schlafzimmer aus gab es eine (hohe) Stufe zum Wohnzimmer, die allerdings angekündigt war. Das Problem war aber, dass es keinen Lichtschalter gab, wenn man des nachts einmal auf die Toilette musste. Die Kommunikation mit dem Unternehmen Droomvilla verlief sehr unbefriedigend. Immerhin wurde der Vertrag nicht eingehalten (u.a. der fehlende Geschirrspüler), deswegen haben wir eine Entschädigung gefordert. Als Antwort kam: " ... sehen neben unserer direkten Aktion (Anmerkung: das Weinglas, mehr nicht!!!) zu den Punkten keinen weiteren Schadenersatzbedarf. Das ist unverschämt und ärgerlich!!
