About this property
Appartamento Filomena con Patio by Wonderful Italy
Wonderful apartment in the heart of Vomero, a few steps from Piazza Vanvitelli and well connected by public transport to the rest of the main points of interest in Naples.
The apartment is located on the ground floor of an elegant building. The entrance opens onto a hallway that leads to the rest of the rooms. The living area consists of a small sitting room with a single sofa bed and a snack-bar table, from which there is then access to the veranda with a kitchenette. The sleeping area, on the other hand, consists of two bedrooms, both with queen-size beds. A bathroom with shower completes the layout.
The accommodation does not have an indoor area where you can dine, but it benefits from a splendid outdoor space, accessible from all rooms, furnished with a relaxation area and a gazebo with a dining table. Here you can enjoy the beautiful sunny days typical of the Neapolitan capital, in total privacy.
Free wifi, heating and air conditioning in one bedroom will be available to guests.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find all the details of your reservation within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences of living in contact with the locals. If interested, please contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauty of Italy.
"When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city, to be experienced by walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air, and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage.
Naples has a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
Strolling through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, one traverses its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is one place that symbolizes Naples, it is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new 'Neapolitan Renaissance' where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Today it is also possible to visit 'the underground city', or the so-called 'belly of Naples', which served the Neapolitans as a refuge during the bombing raids, where tourists can walk through the Greco-Roman aqueduct, the air-raid shelters, and finally visit the War Museum.
Particularly not to be missed is the San Severo Chapel, which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works to be seen in Naples, the work of Giuseppe Sanmartino.
Naples Central Station is just 6 kilometers from the apartment, and Naples Airport is about a 20-minute drive away.
