This is our second time staying here. Just like the first time, the cabin was clean and the beds comfortable. I appreciated the gate available to put at the top of the stairs to prevent falling. If you like to see elk, this is the place. There’s a beautiful view of Long’s Peak and Twin Sisters from the living room and back deck. We appreciated the box fans available should you need them.
I am beyond impressed with this property. The location is perfect, home is very well managed, including all of the appliances. Two families fit perfectly in the space. We loved the hot tub and the kids had plenty of space to run and play. I can’t say enough about this place! We will be back!
Had a very wonderful stay at this cabin in Estes Park as part of my son's spring break. The pictures in the listing do not do it justice. It is incredibly charming with cute decorations and comfortable furniture. A very good "cabin" feel. Very spacious family areas both upstairs, downstairs, and outside. Everything you could need for a short or long stay. The hot tub was great. Location is perfect for nice walks through the neighborhood where we saw literally hundreds of elk and maybe a dozen deer. Super easy drive to downtown for shopping and dining. Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park and any of the other nearby attractions. The host was very prompt and thoughtful with all communications.Highly recommend, and will definitely consider staying here again on a future trip.
Five family members (ages 15-78) stayed in The Bluebird for 4 nights over New Year’s. We arrived to a warm cabin decorated with several lighted Christmas trees, which immediately gave us a homey holiday feel. Throughout our stay, we enjoyed gathering in the large living area with plenty of comfortable seating for all. The cabin has a second living area downstairs if you have a larger group or just want to have quiet time alone. The kitchen was well-stocked, the handy coffee bar was well-used, the hot tub was clean and inviting, and the bathrooms were furnished with nice amenities. A little word of warning: the downstairs shower is quite small with a low ceiling, making it a little difficult to use for our 6-footers in the family. Also, for the money, I expected more luxurious bedding, but this cabin definitely has its pluses. We appreciated the great views, the quiet neighborhood, close proximity to restaurants, groceries, lake, dog park, etc. We tried Antonio’s (just down the street from the cabin) and discovered the best pizza in town! And, the hot pizza is delivered to your table by a robot! A fun touch! To sum it all up, our 3-generational group enjoyed coming to Estes Park, staying in The Bluebird, and bringing along the furry member of the family! Thank you to the owners for sharing their cabin with us! chairs
House was clean and cute!Owner was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. Home needed repairs such as the upstairs dryer and the outside railings to the steps. Suggestion, add a gate to the steps leading to the lower level.
The house is great for families. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen, although small, was very well stocked, even had a crockpot to use. The outside areas could use some TLC as well as the downstairs bathroom, I dont recommend adults use that shower. Upstairs bathroom was nice. The property is in a great location, right by the lake and mountain coaster, which the kids loved. Overall a great place to call "home" while we were in Estes. Even had the pleasure of an elk visiting the yard.
The cabin was awesome for our family of 7. Very clean, spacious, and roomy!! Saw lots of wildlife in the neighborhood including elk everyday. Was a great place!!
Blue bird cabin is a delightful lodge to stay in located in Estes Park, CO. The location is within a short distance of all things needed for a enjoyable activity filled visit. The RMNP is close by. There are many food and drink options. We highly recommend it.
Comfortable and homey place. Great for our family group. Lots of living spaces to spread out. Quiet neighborhood away from town traffic. Everything we needed. We will come again!
The property was fairly represented online. We had 5 adults and the arrangement was fine. Karine was responsive and communication was quick and easy. While the cabin was clean, it is in need of TLC. The hot tub cover was broken and the decks should be sanded and stained. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
This cabin is really pretty and well decorated. The beds were comfortable. The view from the window and the back deck are of Twin Sisters and Long’s Peak…one couldn’t ask for more than that. We would definitely return to this home if we traveled back to Estes.
My family had such a lovley time at this cabin! We loved how close it was to downtown and Rocky Moutain National Park. We saw a herd of deer in the driveway on our first night there, it was awesome! The cabin had tons of room to spread out and the hot tub was great!
We love Estes Park and this cabin was a great way to have a family gathering before Christmas when we would not be able to gather at the holiday. The cabin has a comfy vibe.
Myself and 3 adult children rented the cabin for Xmas. 2 more adult children were to join. We got off to a rocky start. The direction button provided took us to a location that doesn't exist. We drove around circles in the mountains on dirt roads for 45 minutes before we were provided with the correct address which was 15 minutes from the one provided. Upon arrival, the cabin was easy to enter, and we were pleased by how spacious it was. There was plenty of room for the four of us. We used three out of four bedrooms. The cabin had more than your typical essentials. It had absolutely everything that someone would need, including Q-tips, blow dryer, shampoo, towels, laundry detergent, spices, and so much more. All of the essentials that nobody likes to purchase for a short stay. The bedrooms were comfortable and set at comfortable temp. We cooked a Christmas dinner and ate at the dining table that seats 6. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi, which was clean, warm, and relaxing. we loved the coffee bar. There was plenty of coffee makers throughout the top floor. We enjoyed the cable and Internet. We also enjoyed going to town and shopping and went to smokin Dave's restaurant. They serve excellent barbecue. We really enjoyed our stay and spent some good quality family time together away from our busy lives. The neighborhood is quiet & safe. there were so many things that made this cabin great. We would stay again.
First things first, the pictures do not give this cabin justice! It was a beautiful getaway and the Christmas decor was icing on the cake! Lots of room to spread out and enjoy each other! It snowed while we were there so we spent a lot of time in the cabin! Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin 10/10!!!
We really enjoyed our stay in the little blue cabin at the end of the road. There were 4 adults, 3 kids, and 3 pups. We had more than enough space to spread out. We took the dogs on a few walks around the neighborhood and saw a buck and a very large elk (luckily it was laying in the shade quite a bit off the road and had no interest in us!). We were close to town, which made quick grocery trips very fast. And we loved the river walk and visiting all of the little shops.
Ski cabin place, but accommodates 8 easily (more can fit in if needed). Upstairs and downstairs living rooms. Pleasant of space to socialize. We liked it, but had a hard time getting a response from the property manager. The owner was great.
We really enjoyed staying at Bluebird. It's adorable, clean, comfortable. Great views off the decks, close to town. Close enough for an amazing morning run around the lake. Would definitely stay here again. Karine was easily reachable and friendly. Thank you for sharing this great place!
