About this property
The Rope and Anchor, Aberaeron
The Rope and Anchor is a semi-detached holiday cottage close to the centre of the lovely Georgian seaside town of Aberaeron, in Ceredigion.
The cottage offers contemporary accommodation, combined with original features from which you can enjoy this beautiful part of West Wales. The lounge with a wood burner offers a cosy retreat, and the enclosed patio is a great place to enjoy an evening drink and plan the next day’s activities.
Aberaeron town centre is a short walk away, and here you will find a good range of independent shops, supermarkets, pubs, cafés, and restaurants and the famous honey ice cream. The town has a great foodie scene, with something to suit everyone’s tastes and lots of local products to try.
Nearby is Llanerchaeron, a beautifully preserved 18th-century Welsh estate managed by the National Trust, featuring a Georgian villa, walled gardens, and a working farm. Nestled in the Aeron Valley, it offers a glimpse into historic rural life and a serene escape into nature
The Ceredigion coastal path is a short distance from The Rope and Anchor, where keen walkers can enjoy unspoilt landscapes, walking through Sunny Valley, Cei Bach and along New Quay with its sandy beaches and dolphin sightseeing boat trips.
