About this property
Angel Cottage, Wenhaston. Nr Southwold and Minsmere
Angel Cottage is a pretty 200-year-old terraced cottage in the quaint village of Wenhaston. This holiday home has been refurbished to a high standard to provide light, comfortable accommodation for 2 to 3 guests. It sits in a wonderful rural spot, ideal for exploring the Suffolk coast and countryside, with an old-fashioned English country pub less than a mile away. There is also a multi-fuel stove to cosy up in front of on those chilly British evenings.
You're welcomed into the charming living room with some exposed beams, a multi-fuel stove for those chilly British evenings, 3 seater sofa, armchairs and a TV.
The living room leads into the kitchen / dining area.
The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a table and chairs should you wish to dine in.
The chic modern bathroom is on the ground floor and has a walk-in shower cubicle, WC and sink with drawers under.
Steep stairs lead up to the 2 bedrooms, and the staircase ends on a wide top step rather than a landing which may be unsuitable for very young children and elderly guests.
The double bedroom has a double bed (5ft), 2 bedside tables and a chest of drawers. Window looks out to views over the front garden and fields to Blyth Valley
Bedroom 2 has a single bed (3ft), bedside cupboard and an open hanging cupboard with views over the back garden.
A beautiful spot with rural views. Off-road car parking space in front of the cottage is normally available for one or two cars. A garden at the front leads into the cottage and there is a generous size south facing, secluded rustic garden at the back, providing some sheltered spots where you can relax and listen to the birds.
There is a right of way across the immediate rear of the terrace of four cottages, giving residents direct access to Coles Hill Road.
Wenhaston is a pretty village surrounded by Suffolk countryside – great for cycling and walking, with seaside Dunwich and Walberswick (delightful for crabbing) 5 miles away and popular Southwold 7 miles away. Also, a short drive away is Minsmere RSPB reserve and Snape Maltings with its year-round programme of music, art exhibitions, restaurants and craft shops.
There is a regular bus service to Southwold and Halesworth if you do not want to drive.
Right of way across the immediate rear of the terrace of four cottages, giving residents direct access to Coles Hill Road.
The number of persons occupying the property overnight must not exceed three. 1 Child welcome.
STRICTLY NO SMOKING AND NO PETS
