If you are looking for a non-traditional accommodation, this may suit you. Here you have a decorated saloon with a lovely outdoor veranda, its own walled barbecue area and outdoor furniture and that you live in a house from the 1900s that was built as a meeting house for the inhabitants of the district. Here in the southern parts of Bergslagen there is a lot to discover with nature and the forest as an obvious and close place. Downstairs is the house's kitchen with plenty of space to prepare meals, a dishwasher makes it easier for those who take care of the dishes. Freezer is available after contact with the owner. If the weather does not allow you to eat outdoors or out on the porch of the saloon, there is a dining area adjacent to the kitchen . A bedroom with a comfortable single bed is adjacent to the bathroom and hallway. Then you have the gigantic hall where the villagers gathered. Today it is furnished with slightly different seating areas and on the stage there is a piano. Upstairs, the house's first kitchen remains in the original (not in function) but the old water tap in the kitchen works fine. There is a daybed that is converted into a comfortable sleeping place for 2 people. Inside there is the larger bedroom with a double bed, there is no door between the rooms. Behind the corner of the house there are forests with plenty of both blueberries and mushrooms according to the season or if you just want to go out and enjoy nature. Around Bergslagen there are several historical sites to visit. The small community of Blixterboda had its own train station in the early 1900s and the resort was known for its health source where there was a spa hotel with guests from the cities around. The owner of the house lives in the yard next door and welcomes you when you arrive!
