The Area
Start your day by visiting the Cotswold wildlife park, a perfect place to spend your morning surrounded by nature. Afterward, make your way to one of the charming villages nearby and enjoy a delightful afternoon tea. Alternatively, you can explore the Georgian town of Cheltenham, located just a short seventeen-minute car ride away.
Cheltenham is renowned for its elegant regency architecture, well-maintained squares, upscale shopping, and famous horse racing events. The town's refined atmosphere can be attributed to its history as a popular spa resort in the 18th century, attracting aristocrats seeking relaxation. Cheltenham offers a wealth of historical landmarks, diverse dining options, and vibrant festivals celebrating music, literature, and more.
Take a leisurely stroll along the tree-lined Promenade, admire the Neoclassical Caryatids in the Montpellier District, browse through antique shops, or unwind at one of the charming wine bars. For a tranquil experience, visit Pittville Park and don't miss the opportunity to sample the healing waters of the Pittville Pump Room, a magnificent spa building that still retains its grandeur.
Foxcote Grange blends sophistication and comfort, seamlessly combining modern technology with traditional charm. Live the country life with family and friends, family feasts on the Aga, dinner by the pool beneath the parasol, and board games, books and pool in the games room. Warm the evenings with the logs in the hearth, catch a family film, wind the day up together with dinner and wine in the panelled dining room.
Gardens and grounds
Three rolling acres here invite exploration. Beyond the picket fence horses roam. It’s the idyllic setting to get the Weber gas barbecue going, take to the terrace and or dine by the pool.
With a heated swimming pool, tennis court, games room and gardens and grounds to explore, there’s plenty to keep the kids occupied. Children will love being outdoors, with a zip wire, tennis court, pool and rolling gardens.
Older children will take advantage of the games room, with pool table, board games, and a TV with plenty of DVD’s to choose from. And for the little ones, there’s a highchair and cot available, as well as plenty of books, toys and DVD’s.
(ATTENTION - The swimming pool is seasonal, and only open between May-October)
