About this property
Baltic, Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk
You will find contemporary living at its very best at this super coastal retreat. Completed in 2023, Baltic is one of a trio of terraced town houses forming the select Three Lifeboats complex, built by award-winning local specialist developers. High tech and high spec, without impacting on the comfort factor, this stylishly presented coastal home in one of Norfolk's favourite resorts, charming Wells-next-the-Sea with its long-established history of heritage and fishing, is sure to be a hit with all manner of holidaymakers.
Baltic, named after one of the town's lifeboats that was in service in the 1880s, is mid-terrace and sits over three floors. Constructed in traditional brick and flint, with feature wooden cladding, this attractive house is tucked away in a quiet location, only a five minute walk away from the bustling heart of the town, Staithe Street. With light and bright interiors, this family home enjoys the warmth of highly efficient air source heating and a south facing aspect. On the ground floor, the front door opens to an entrance hall that runs the length of the house, with a useful utility room at the far end providing laundry facilities as well as access to the rear garden. To the right of the hallway is a dual aspect open-plan living space where cooking, dining and relaxing areas work perfectly in harmony to create a sociable environment where everyone can gather together to plan the day ahead and, as the day winds down, enjoy sharing thoughts and memories of the day's activities. Bi-fold doors to either end of the room open up the room even further to fully enjoy the ambience of indoor/outdoor living, when the mood, weather and temperature permits. Upstairs on the first floor, you will find two of the beautifully presented bedrooms; the master bedroom with king-size bed and Juliet balcony and an en-suite bathroom, and a twin bedded room that has use of the family bathroom on this floor. A separate study on this level, also with a Juliet balcony, is the perfect option should anyone want to step away from the crowd and find a quiet spot for reading, studying or work. The upper floor is occupied by a bedroom suite featuring a king-size bed and shower room. Open the Velux window and, standing on your tiptoes, look over the roof tops and, on a clear day when the tide is high, you can glimpse the sea in the far distance! Outside of the house, paved and shingled fully enclosed courtyard gardens to front and rear, offer guests a choice of two separate seating and dining options on warmer days when the temptation to light the barbecue might be too hard to resist.
When it's time to explore the town, a short walk takes you to a multitude of independent shops, cafes and some great gastro pubs that populate the maze of narrow streets, old alleys and yards. The town's beautiful sandy beach, with its pine trees, sand dunes and colourful beach huts can be reached by either a pleasant fifteen to twenty minute walk, a short drive or bike ride. Join the coastal path for a bracing walk to Stiffkey and beyond in an easterly direction or follow the path that runs behind the pine trees that line the beach and leads to stunning Holkham Bay. Definitely try crabbing from the Quay and try and make time to visit The Maltings arts centre (see below), which hosts a gallery, theatre, cinema, museum about the history of Wells as well as a popular coffee stop destination.

Two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge).
