The Neighborhood:
The coastal town of Cadzand is actually composed of two villages: Cadzand-Bad and Cadzand-Dorp. Cadzand-Dorp is located further inland, within the vast polders of West Zeelandic Flanders. Cadzand-Bad, along with Domburg, is the only Dutch seaside resort permitted to hold the title of Sacred Seaside Resort. In addition to therapy and wellness activities, Cadzand offers sports, cultural, and culinary activities. The landscape around Cadzand is marked by centuries of battles with the sea and between people. The barracks and swales, quays, and dikes are traces of this rich past. The former island of Cadzand is one of the oldest polder landscapes in Europe and remains recognizable today.

Inland lies Cadzand-Dorp, a recognizable medieval ring village with the Gothic Marian Church from the early 14th century at its center. The church and the old houses around it set the tone for the village. The village's notable landmark, the 'Nooitgedacht' mill, was completely restored in 1977.

Cadzand is part of the Zwin region, which boasts the highest density of Michelin stars worldwide. The Michelin-star restaurant Pure C is located in the dunes of Cadzand-Bad. Chef Syrco Bakker often sources his ingredients directly from the land or sea, and frequently from his own vegetable garden. Sergio Herman's new Air Republic received its first Michelin star within one year of opening.

The famous Zwin nature reserve lies on the border of the Netherlands and Belgium. It has long been of great economic importance as a navigation channel. Over time, the channel silted up, creating the current nature reserve, which now consists of beach, dunes, salt marshes, and meadows. The sea has free play here, and through a flood channel, the mudflats and salt marshes stay wet. The best way to explore this unique nature reserve is with a guide.

The Accommodation is fully furnished, whereby 90% of the price refers to the property and 10% to the furniture. You can optionally purchase certain products and services from Huswell, which Huswell provides in it’s own name and on it’s own account.

LINEN AND TOWELS IS PROVIDED BY THE OWNER:
The owner of this accommodation provides high-quality bed and bath linen as part of the reservation.

KITCHEN ESSENTIALS:
The owner does provide a few kitchen essentials that will cover the first few days of your stay. This includes standard essentials such as coffee cups, tea, sugar, olive oil, salt & pepper, hand soap, dish detergent, one kitchen towel, cloth and sponge, one roll of kitchen paper, and one garbage bag. We also provide a few dishwasher tablets if a dishwasher is available.

HYGIENE ESSENTIALS:
The owner does provide a few hygiene essentials that will cover the first few days of your stay. This includes luxurious bathroom essentials such as shampoo, shower gel and hand soap. Toilet paper is also provided in the toilets.

CLEANING:
The accommodation has been professionally cleaned and prepared. After your check-out, the cleaning and inspection of the accommodation are included in the price. However, we do ask all guests to leave the accommodation in a tidy state to respect our hard-working cleaning colleagues.

INSPECTIONS:
The accommodation has been inspected as well as possible after previous guests' check-out and will be again inspected after your check-out.

MAINTENANCE:
The accommodation is maintained as good as possible, and any defect or damage should be reported immediately. If any maintenance issues arise, we ask for patience and understanding. The owner and Huswell will do their best to solve any issue as soon as possible.
