About this property
Character cottage in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park 5 minutes from the beach
Situated on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, in the heart of the Angle peninsular at the end of a lane is Venton cottages . A three double bedrooms, two bathroomed cottage situated in a private garden, perfect for family beach holidays or a romantic getaway.
Freshwater West is the nearest accessible beach, just 5 minutes by car or a 40 minutes walk through fields and bridal ways. The recently refurbished Speculation Inn, is the nearest pub, 2 miles away and half a mile further is the award winning Paternoster Farm.
Bosherston and Stackpole villages are a 15 minute drive in one direction, with carparks for The Lily Ponds, Barafundle and Broadhaven South Beaches. Angle Village is 15 minutes in the other direction lies with West Angle Beach, recently voted the best picnic beach in Wales.
Each village has at least one pub and or a tearoom.
The cottage retains many of its original characters and is fully furnished with vintage and family heirloom furniture, step back in time and enjoys life simple pleasures, without compromising amenities such as free wifi.
Floors are a mix of original quarry tile, slate flagstones, tiles and solid oak, with rugs in most rooms. The kitchen, conservatory and downstairs bathroom have underfloor heating.
Up the oak stairs are three double bedrooms, Two of the bedrooms have double beds, and one has a single and additional pullout single bed. One bedroom is ensuite and there is an additional bathroom downstairs.
The kitchen has an extendable Ercol dining table, with sitting for six, two traditional Welsh dressers, made by my Great Grandfather, a SMEG 'Fab 30' Fridge freezer, Rangemaster gas cooker and slate worktops.
The conservatory looks onto the garden, furnished with an Ercol daybed and summer seat, perfect for stargazing in one of the UKs dark sky areas
The front room has two leather sofas, a woodburning stove and 50" Samsung TV.
With sea views from almost every window and green fields between you and the coast, you can sit in the garden and listen to the waves, whether having breakfast, a leisurely lunch, evening meal or sitting around the fire pit, bat watching.

Im from Pembrokeshire and this is my family home. My work takes me away for prolonged periods of time so Im renting out my cottage so it doesn't remain empty, however I require flexibility to be able to stay in it while home, so holiday letting is perfect.
