About this property
ST GEORGES SQUARE, PIMLICO- Beautiful 1-bed Pied a Terre apartment near Victoria
This quiet second-floor apartment in an elegant stucco-fronted Georgian building on a lovely leafy square is less than 2 minutes from Pimlico tube station and 8 minutes from Victoria station.
This is the London visitors's best-kept secret. A very residential location in Central London, so far from the hustle and bustle of the big city and crowds of fast-moving holidaymakers, but so close to the major attractions such as the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St James's Park, Tate Britain and all the events along the River Thames. Victoria Station with an elaborate underground, rail, and bus network is just a short walk from here. The area of Pimlico is pretty, clean, and attractive with a good balance of small traditional shops and markets and big well-stocked supermarkets. This is a wonderful base for exploring London. For example, Tate Britain is just down the road. Sloane Sq and King's Rd (Chelsea) are within walking distance. There's a local market on Tatchbrook Street selling fresh fruit and veg and lots of restaurants and pubs in the neighbourhood. One of London's newest attractions: Battersea Power Station is within walking distance (just over the bridge).
Tube: Pimlico Tube is 2 minutes walking. Victoria tube, mainline station, and bus station are an 8-minute walk.
Accommodation: This spacious property is quiet and features high ceilings and plenty of light. For warmer months, there's a roof terrace with lounge furniture. There is also a front balcony. Upon entering its two flights of stairs, 25 steps, with a handrail.
Decoration: Well-furnished and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable short stay.
Reception: Large living room with two sofas (one is a sofa-bed), dining table that seats six / bright workspace.
Kitchen: Separate fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher, and fridge.
Bedrooms: The bedroom is quiet and peaceful with a UK double bed, plenty of built-in wardrobes/hanging space plus a dressing table and a chair, side tables, and lamps.
Bathrooms: The bathroom is white tile with a bath, wall attached and handheld shower unit, large mirror, wash basin, and loo
