The Oakroyd, a house over three floors, consists of a kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, a sitting room with Smart TV, and a sitting room with Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of three super-king-size rooms, two second-floor king-size rooms which can be twins on request, and a second-floor king-size, each with Smart TVs. There is a bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, basin, hand-held shower, heated towel rail, and WC, and a bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, hand-held shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC. Outside, there is a rear enclosed decking and patio with furniture, and off-road parking for four cars. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.4 miles, pub and shop 0.1 miles. There's also a year-round climbing wall, and a seasonal, heated outdoor swimming pool in a beautiful riverside setting, whilst the attractive village centre has narrow winding streets centred on a tiny marketplace. The village's main claim to fame is the superb Waterfalls' Walk, while the well-known White Scar Caves are just over a mile away, along with the Beezley Falls Nature Reserve, and Thornton Force Waterfall. An excellent location from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District, and the Forest of Bowland AONB, sure to offer a nature-filled visit.
