A quiet & cosy 2 bed home, tucked away down a cobble stone laneway with off street parking. This home is facing onto the old railway line which has been converted into a quiet footpath which leads into town centre.
The Space:
This unique 2 bedroom house is a recently built home, nestled off a residential street, it has the benefit of parking right outside the door. With it’s angular rooms and roof, it has to be seen to be believed.
You’ll walk inside the door to be greeted by an open plan living and dining area, flooded with natural light from the beautiful skylight above. A large island provides a sociable space for entertaining and dining, with handcrafted wooden high stools. L shape leather sofa provides a great space to relax after a long day sightseeing in York. There is even a desk and chair for those wanting a work from home or office area and finally a wall mounted smart TV.
The sleek, grey kitchen offers a range of kitchen units, with glassware, crockery and cutlery, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer dryer (under the island) dishwasher and electric oven and hob.
Hidden at the back of the house is a modern, wood wall panelled, and paved outdoor courtyard with bistro table to seat two.
On the ground floor is a double bedroom with wall mounted tv, wardrobe and sumptuous double bed.
The property is wheelchair accessible for 2 people as the ground floor offers a wc and bedroom however there is no bathroom on the ground floor with washing facilities.
To the first floor is a second double bedroom with quirky angular walls and beaded picture framing panelling to create depth to the walls, again with double bed, wardrobe and wall mounted tv, there is a separate shower room with double shower unit, modern marble effect tiling, sink and toilet. Radiator and recessed product shelving. Another skylight provides a light and airy space.
Towels and bed linen is supplied.

There is a hop on hop off red bus tour, red river boats and taxis. We think the best way to see the city is on foot, by meandering around the streets and walls of the City of York you'll stumble across a multitude of hidden gems, eateries, historic monuments and so much more.
