The wonderful city of Turin, capital of Piedmont and known for its chocolate, offers countless opportunities and experiences. The city is renowned for the sophistication of its architecture: sumptuous Baroque buildings line Turin's great squares, such as Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo. In the historic center stands the Mole Antonelliana, one of the symbols of Italy, along with the Royal Palace of Turin and Palazzo Madama. Turin offers attractions for every taste, from outdoor activities to gastronomy. For a stroll among the greenery and the scent of flowers, you can visit the Botanical Garden of Turin, located on the left side of the Po River, and the famous Valentino Park close to the historic center. The province is also the best Italian center for chocolate processing, and every year the "Cioccolatò" event is inaugurated with parties, events and tastings. For a tasting of typical Piedmontese dishes, don't miss Solferino Restaurant and Consorzio Restaurant.
Accommodation is a 20-minute walk from Porta Susa train station, and 17 km from Turin Caselle Airport.
