The island has a number of pretty villages on Arran’s stunning coastline which are contrasted by a rugged and mountainous interior in the north. For outdoor lovers, Arran offers mountain biking, paragliding, canyoning, sea kayaking, scrambling and more; you can even book an island safari! The Isle of Arran is a place where you can find a little bit of everything you’d ever want from a Scottish island; an ever-changing coastline, dramatic mountain peaks, sheltered beaches, verdant forests, great cultural festivals and a wealth of tasty local produce.

Book a tour at the Arran Distillery to discover the secrets behind the distilling process before sampling a dram of malt whisky or the creamy liqueur Arran Gold. For a unique experience, take a small ferry over to the Holy Isle and you will discover a friendly Buddhist community, where animals roam freely, including Saanen goats and Eriskay ponies.
